I did 15 push ups in the first set and 10 in the second. A new record. Plus I used my 4 lb weights for all the exercises for the first time. And the only modified exercise I'm still doing is girly push ups. I had my best calorie burn yet - 296 and that was without the warm up because I forget to start the HRM.

I do have to say, my knees bothered me more. Hopefully that doesn't slow down my progress.

Way to go!! That is awesome!

I had my hubby check to see if I was doing my push ups correctly and apparently I did have my butt in the air some. He showed me how my form should be and now I can't do quite as many. I think I did 12 or 13 the first set and I had to pause a few times. I just can't imagine how hard regular push ups will be!!

The only real difference I see with regular push ups is the extra weight you're lifting. Given I'm already so much heavier than a normal person, I feel like I am doing a normal push up for someone of a healthy weight LOL. That's my justification and I'm sticking to it!

I most definitely did NOT rock L1D9 tonight. My knees really hurt - probably from my enthusiasm last night. Especially during jumping jacks. On one set I even gave up half way thru the set and just did the arm part of the jumping jacks. My heart rate stayed up though so that's good. It was quite discouraging though to think I might have to take a break due to worn out knees. Maybe I'll skip one day while I'm on my trip this weekend. Boo hiss!!!!

On the upside I think I'm seeing definition on my arms that didn't used to be there. I didn't do before pics with my arms flexed but I took one tonight for further comparison later.

Where can I see the real plan?

Awesome! I am getting better with push-ups too. I still have to do them girly-style. They're so hard! I started with 5lb weights on Monday. That definitely makes it harder.
