New Rules of Lifting for Women

I just ordered this book from Amazon.com and received it yesterday. Can't wait to start reading it. I hope this will jump start my metabolism. it states that we should "put down the “Barbie” weights, step away from the treadmill, and begin a strength and conditioning regime for the natural athlete in every woman.
Okay - I will give it a try.
Anyone out there have success on this program?

Hi, I am doing it. Still in the beginning (stage 1, workout A-6 is next) so I can't claim much success (yet!) but i've been eating more and have never felt better0

I haven't used that program but I love weight lifting and the results it can give you. I do 14 kilos (30lbs) walking squats and 10 kilos (22lbs) on the squat track in my weekly pump class so I say drop the Barbie weights and go for it!
You'll be amazed at how much you can actually lift :bigsmile:0
