Good job Kat for staying under yesterday! This past weekend, I did not do so well. I went WAY over my calorie limit on Friday-Sunday. It was just one of those weekends. Bleh...but I started back on track yesterday and today!0

I'm down for April as well! Having this tread has helped me a lot when I go out to eat. Like today, my husband and I went to Dos Coyotes (Mexican restaurant). I was tempted to get my usual steak burrito but I decided to get a shrimp salad instead!0 -

I didn't do so well this weekend. =( I didn't exercise and ate over my calorie by A LOT! Went to a buffet with some friends on Saturday and had a housewarming party today. Oh well, I'm just going to move on and start a new day tomorrow!

My weekend was not the best either but not too bad. I am ready to have a much better April than March. Today is a new day!

Got a question... so if I've gone 2 days with no fast food I should have a 0 next to my name, correct? I wasn't sure which way it worked. Just double checking.
I love this group, so glad I ran across it yesterday and joined. It's such a good idea, as when I get paid somehow I run around doing so many errands, don't have proper food with me and end up stopping someplace because my blood sugar is so low I can't think straight. Thus the places never being healthy that I choose in a pinch.
Definitely a good daily reminder for me to plan ahead so that doesn't happen to me!.:drinker:0 -

I got a Medium Caramel Frappe and a Medium Hashbrown. Well the Frappe isn't that good. Very sweet and when I found that it was 500 calories, it really turned me off. I've drank about a quarter of it and probably won't have any more. I did eat the hasbrowns though. I never realized that those two items take up nearly all of my calories. So I'm going to work on eating better for the rest of the day, since there's not much I can do about what I've consumed thus far. Tomorrow is a new day and will be a day without fast food.0

Welcome Reese and good job on not drinking the rest of Frapee especially if not that good. I personally do not have a problem with drinks with high calories. I refuse to drink something that has more calories than a meal when I could have eaten it vs drinking it. But i know many struggle with liquid calories. Welcome again! BTW - I still have to look up calories on the Cinabon they have. I did not find it on BK website the other day when looking for it on smartphone. Did not have time to keep searching for it that day but I had the single one only and that was satisfactory. I will look up the damage today.0 -

Today was my fast food day. My coworkers and I have been wanting to try the new Doritos Locos Tacos at Taco Bell so we decided to go get it and it was actually pretty good! Now that I had it, I can stop thinking about it and move on! I looked up the nutritional value for it and it's 200 calories per taco. Not too shabby!0 -
I agree 200 calories is not bad at all! Actually Meea Taco Bell has a lot of low calorie options especially if you opt for the salsa sauce they have vs. sour cream etc. I forgot what they call it but You can really stay within calorie range with many of their selections. I have not been there in a while since I like authentic tacos and Chicago has too many better options for Mexican food I ususally go for 2 tacos or fajitas which I can keep healthy.0

I had my first fast food for the month tonight. We didn't get out of my daughter's volleyball game until 7pm and I forgot to get any meat out to thaw for supper. I grabbed a spicy chicken from Wendy's and took off half the bun. I skipped the fries and instead came home and popped a frozen veggie blend into the microwave to go with it. Spicy chicken plain with half of the bun plus a big bowl of seasoned veggies = a very yummy 550 calories!0

You too Meea!! You will get back on track and are doing fine! It is so early in the month.
BTW - You can "Fresco" anything from Taco Bell by saying "Fresco". It is salsa substitued for sour cream, etc and is 25% less fat and reduces the calories.

So I'm planning to go to Los Angeles for the weekend with one of my girl friends. We're leaving tomorrow and coming back Sunday. This is gonna be a test for me! I might have to do one day with fast food during this trip (we're driving so it's a 6 hour drive each way)! We'll see what happens!0 -

So I'm planning to go to Los Angeles for the weekend with one of my girl friends. We're leaving tomorrow and coming back Sunday. This is gonna be a test for me! I might have to do one day with fast food during this trip (we're driving so it's a 6 hour drive each way)! We'll see what happens!
Hope you have a great trip meeaham! I ended up having fast food again last night. We were out of town and planned on getting something decent to eat, but my friend unexpectedly had to get back home asap. We were starving so we stopped at Taco Bell. :ohwell:0 -

I just got back from my trip today and it was lots of fun! I got one exercise in during my trip! We hiked the Hollywood Sign and it wasn't too bad! Also, I ended up eating fast food for one day! Ended up eating at McDonalds. Why are their fries so good??!!!

Hope this continues to be a monthly Challenge. I came in on this in April so not sure it was something ongoing or something new this Month.
