Not enough

I've always lifted weights but not super heavy. I'm starting Stage 1 on Monday. I know he says not to add anything to the workouts listed but in Stage 1.....there just doesn't seem to be much. Did you really not add to the lifting? I want to get the best results possible without killing myself. I will say.....I can not wait to start. I'm printing out all my spreadsheets tonight!!!!!

I'm thinking give it a go as the book says and then see how you feel. my hunch is that you'll find the routines just enough hard work for now!!!!0

Try it out like the book says, if it's not enough, add some. But be aware that sometimes you will get DOMs 24 even more hours later.0

Just follow it.... it doesn't feel like enough, but it is.
I think Stage One is hugely psychological and designed to break down a lot of what we "know" about exercise and weight loss. 0 -
It'll take more time that you think, especially if you do some warm up (I recommend you do), and take the rest periods that are built in. Additionally, once you master the form of the exercises and start moving up in weights, you'll be having a killer workout.
And like someone else said, you might not feel it when you're doing it, but give it a day or two and you'll be surprised how sore you can get!0 -
This is good advice and exactly what I would have said. It'll take more time that you think, especially if you do some warm up (I recommend you do), and take the rest periods that are built in. Additionally, once you master the form of the exercises and start moving up in weights, you'll be having a killer workout.
