Good Morning Beach Bums!

I know this was a short week for our 1st weigh in but hopefully all the Sodium is out of our systems from the Long Weekend and we'll have a good weigh in. I'm really excited to start this new challenge with all of you!

Remember that you have until MIDNIGHT every THURSDAY to Weigh In. Anyone that fails to weigh in on time will be dropped from the group. If you can't access the message board for any reasons, please message me your weigh in before Midnight on Thursdays and I will fill it in for you.

Thank you to everyone that have advise me of their Vacation Plans. I will make sure I post your weight or keep the previous weight and we can adjust when you get back.

I'm posting the thread early this week because we have a Team Member leaving for VEGAS!!! Enjoy your trip Teri!!

Remember the format:

I really don't think I've changed much since it's only been 2 days :ohwell: At least I'm moving in the right direction.

Have fun on vacation. I recently went on vacation to California. I did tons of walking in Sea World, San Diego Zoo, and Universal Studio. I did gain about 4 lbs on vacation. However, I lost it all within a few days after coming home. I think the extra sodium in restaurant food made me gain tons of water weight. So don't worry about the weight gain when you come home, you will definitely lose it in a short period of time

totally the wrong direction! But this new challenge is exactly what I need to kick me in the *kitten* & get me back on track. Dealing with a couple of injuries right now: fell hard on my shoulder Saturday, and also found out I have degenerating arthritis in my right big toe joint, I think it's Hallix Syndrome or something like that. anyway, no more doing anything that requires bending that joint (like calf raises up on the toes) and I need an insert in all my shoes. The shoulder is just something that will heal over time (I hope so anyway).

I'm happy with the 4 pounds but I really need to get back into ONEderland and soon. I miss that place. Looks like I will be working harder this week to get there. I also want to be at 185 for the end and I have been up and down all throughout this journey but I have not made it into my 180's. good luck to the rest of you!

And so it begins. :P I am going to be honest and just say it right out. The weight does not bother me anymore. Ask me how much I deadlift:P

    Good luck everyone!!

Ok, stuck on this frickin number forever. Sometimes I think its a mental thing. Prolly been about a yr since i was in the 150s. I've been trying 2 reward myself when I get into the 150s but I guess I need a better reward. Idk. I've been out of town for 10 days so that duznt help & I have a broken bone in my foot for the last 3 weeks & have 3 weeks 2 go hopefully. Need a change in mental state. Sorry & hope 2 do better next time.

I have been doing a lot of running which is why I think I'm losing so easy.

    Tiffany,
Thank you:) I am more of a fitness gal, and as a student I have enough to stress about. I eat right, I exercise right. The math makes sense, if my body needs a year to get read of the last 25 pounds..Hell, I'll give it a year;) This change is for good, might as well enjoy it. It's a mental state of mind I am zen about it and now I don't feel the need to have a "cheat" day or skip a workout. It is now ingrained:)! Oh and I deadlift 205lbs ;) AND I just got another major NSV. I now do unassisted, neutral grip, from the ground, full extension pull ups. Like a boss :P SO HAPPY!
