how many calories burned?

I am currently in phase 1, and on my 4th set of workouts; I was wondering if anyone has any idea how to calculate the amount of calories burned per workout?

Buy a HRM!!!!! I was given one for Christmas and I love it. I know they can be a little pricey but it is worth checking them out and hopefully finding one that does what you want.

I've logged it as circuit training, seems about right to me

Lifting weights seems a little low

I log it under the "cardio" section of the "Exercise" tab and use "strength training" as the exercise name; look it up in the database. It seems low when compared to cardio exercise but I think it's better to underestimate the calorie burn rather than overestimate.

Edit: I've read many articles/posts that say HRMs are inaccurate when it comes to weight lifting.

I've seen the stuff about HRM's being off for lifting, but the way this program is designed seems to be more like circuit training, doesn't it? I mean, I really have to catch my breath after those ^&(#&*( step ups!
