Need a Review of My Eating

All kind suggestions are welcomed! I have been primal for about 45 days, and lost about 13 lbs. I have a goal to lost 20 lbs. by the end of April, which is when I leave for a month long trip overseas. Can you all check out my diary and tell me where I could tweak things?
I think I could probably do the following:
1. Exercise more-- I'm getting a lot of long, slow exercise in with walking, gardening, and mowing lawn, but not a lot of weights or sprint-type exercises.
2. Cut out the obviously NON Primal stuff (popcorn, occasional peanut butter, etc...)
3. More leafy greens.
4. More water.
5. Cut sugar (meaning honey and agave -- especially in my coffee) - BUT HOW? I will not use artificial sweeteners, and I HATE the taste of stevia.

But what else? Am I missing something? I feel like I'm stalling a bit, and my TOM is coming up, so that means even less weight loss.
I have really enjoyed the benefits of being on this "diet" (all the benefits besides the weight loss, like no headaches, less acne, etc...)

We need to be able to see your diary. It's set to private or friends only.

I've had good luck with drinking really good coffee, not too strong, with nothing added. When I absolutely need something, I use non-sweetened coconut beverage ( in the box at trader joes). Just a tiny shot of that and maybe some cinnamon, since cinnamon tastes sweet to me these days.

    Good luck and safe travels

You know how I gave up sugar in my coffee? I pour my coffee in the blender, pour in some half & half or almond milk and blend til frothy. I always liked it sweet and creamy before, but turns out I can settle for creamy if it's frothy too.

    Open your diary!

Sorry all, I thought I had my diary public! Oops...
OK, should be good to go now.

Mrs. Ables -- good idea! I am getting down to barely needing any sweetener (and I used to drink a little coffee with my sugar...ugh) -- but I like the idea of making it frothy.

I have found that the longer I've been eating primally, the less I crave the sweet stuff. Usually, my only sweet indulgences are dark chocolate (love it!). The only other very important suggestion I have is to increase your omega 3 intake. I don't see much fish or seafood in your diet. If you're not a fan of fish (or even if you are!), I would seriously consider a good quality liquid fish oil supplement.

Also, although you've been enjoying some fantastic leisurely walks, I find occasional sprints or brief cardio sessions to boost things immensely. Resistance training e.g. push-ups, planks, etc are great for building muscle and toning the body.
By the way, I'm adding you as a friend, us 35 year olds have to stick together :) I turn 35 in just over 2 months.

35 year old here, too! I agree with the Omega 3's. I have to get better with that!

Good idea with the Omega 3s...I'm a little leary of taking supplements, I had a major reaction to some iron supplements I was taking a while back, had to visit a dermatologist for the rash reaction! Eesh......but maybe it's time to try something else again, and see what happens.
I do love seafood, mostly eat tuna and salmon, but probably should up my intake of both.
    Thanks for the insight.
