In how many places do you measure if you don't mind me asking? And how many inches did you lose around the waist? That's where I want to lose!

i believe 3 inches around my waist. i measured in the places that the 90 day journal tells you to measure. like upper arm, chest, bust, waist, hips, thighs and calves

I'm only in my 3rd week (started week 3 today). I will not be taking measurements again until after 4 weeks. After two weeks, I lost 12.5 lbs, so I'm so happy!

Congratulations on such amazing results!!! That's fantastic!!

I just finished Phase 1 and moving on to Phase 2 today. I'm not following the food plan so I've lost very slowly. I've gained and lost over the last 30 days but overall I'm down 2 pounds from the start.

I've lost 5.75 inches overall, though.

Did you stick to the eating plan? That is really surprising. Maybe you were to fit for phase 1? I am sure phase 2 will be bringing results

Daisy80, Not using the meal plan, but I've been good maintaining 1200 +/- calories (listen to my body…). My weight fluctuates about 1 pound. Hope you're right. I'm considering shocking my metabolism and eating only fruits and vegetables for 7 days... and/or adding extra cardio...haven't decided yet. Thanks again for your support!

Don't get discouraged! Are you sure you will have enough energy with just fruit and veg? Maybe upping your calories might be the answer? As you have probably notice on here are many people that support the opinion of eating more in order to lose. Maybe try to calculate your BMR and TDEE. It is not advised to eat under your BMR. Maybe you are eating too little so your body holds onto it's reserves? Just an idea....

i'm on week 4 and i've lost 2 lbs (i only want to lose 12 lbs total) but i haven't lost one stinking inch! I actually don't care even if i gain because i only want to tone up and lose inches but i am sticking to under 1370 cals a day plus eating my exercise cals (which mfp says will get me to drop 1/2 lb a week) i am already on the low end of my bmi so it is really irritating that my body is not changing..grrrrrrr! i don't know for sure but i think it is my age..who knows...i'll just keep trying

You are doing great! Keep your head up....I'm seeing more changes in my muscle tone and strength in phase 2.

I keep my measurements on an Excel spreadsheet so I can just plug in the numbers every month for a quick calculation of total inches lost. I'm a little crazy that way.

    I started mid-February, I'm on WO 9 and 10.

So far, only 6 pounds but 14 inches lost. I'm not even as worried about the pounds anymore. I can definitely see toning and I can feel the muscles under there. I also have to remember I've only been at it two months and it took me way longer to add the extra 20 pounds I didn't invite to the party.

I do my Phase 1 measurements this Sunday! But so far (last time I checked) I've lost 5 pounds! Not as much as I was expecting but I haven't been the best with my eating habits.

It is interesting to see the wide variety! I only get angry when she actually SAYS....I want you to lose crazy sick weight! I am almost done with week 6, I'm down 20 pounds and 22". I'm definitely committed until the end!

Yes - Severshe, it makes me so angry and frustrated when I hear JM say "I'm not talking about 1 or 2 pounds a week... I want you losing crazy sick weight" - yeah me too, Jillian! That's why I did the kickstart with double workouts, have been doing everything to a T for three weeks. I WANT TO LOSE CRAZY SICK WEIGHT!!!! But I haven't lost anything. I am stronger and I think I look better, but I'm definitely not dropping the pounds as I'd hoped.

I am half way through- I have lost 5 lbs but 20 inches! :) I also went from being able to hardly do 1 real pushups to doing them the whole time, along with all the crazy modifications she does!

Also, I started out with 3 lbs dumbells, using 8's now, but thinking i need to get some 10's!

I went bowling yesterday, and I got to use a 12 pound ball! Without even trying! I was excited! I was the only girl in our group to do so! :)

Also, clothes are fitting me that haven't fit me in years! :0

    I love the program!

I am on my second week though I decided to move straight to weeks 3 and 4 this week. I really don't think I have much at all to lose anymore, I am happy at my weight now (120) so I am focusing more on building strength and muscle. I am really interested to see how different everyone's results are.
When I first started my weightloss/exercise in January, I could only do modified push ups. Now I can do full pushups all the time.

I'm at the end of week 9. I don't follow the meal plan, but I eat 1200-1600 calories per day. I've lost 19 pounds, 2 jean sizes, and 28 inches (I measure in all of the places in the booklet that comes with BR). I'm most happy with the 5 inches lost on my waist! Only 25 pounds and 2 jean sizes to go and I'll be at my goal!

Great job everyone, it's good to see this program works. I just started today. While I don't have a lot of weight to lose I really need to tone this body of mine so hoping I can accomplish this goal with this program.

I'm in the last week of phase 1, as of this morning I've lost 8lbs and 22.75 inches (measurements were taken last week). 3.75 of those inches were from my waist, but my biggest losses are in my chest/midriff I've lost a total of 9 inches there (and that's not counting the bust...I didn't measure there). I can't wait for this week, and phase 1, to be done so I can get my "finished with phase 1" measurements and take some progress pics.

I love seeing all of your results! And am so happy to have so many encouraging people with me in this! :)

I know how frustrating that can be. I do not follow her plan but I do use her recipes a lot. I always tend to have some form of carbohydrate at lunch time, whether a tortilla, wholegrain roll, 1 small pita bread and totally go off carbs in the afternoon/ evening. That way I feel I am not being deprived. I also started making a good salad first thing in the morning with lots of raw cabbage, carrots, marrows coloured peppers etc and snack on it if i get hungry. i do this so that should i feel hungry instead of going for the cookie jar, I get my salad out. No excuses. I never thought I would be actually posting this but I am really enjoying my raw veggies. There I actually wrote it :)

Just started phase 2 on monday. In phase one I lost 2.4 pounds and four inches. I am happy with that but hoping that phase two brings bigger results. I'm not sticking her her diet plan, but I am sticking to around 1400 net. Some days that's hard to do though. I felt the 1st two workouts were a little easy, but so glad I did them because I am so much stronger now!! Good job everyone!! Keep it up!

FINALLY dropping pounds :-) I started week 7/8 this past Sunday. I haven't taken all my measurements recently, but I did check my waist and upper hip (3" below waist) because they are my problem areas. I've lost 1 inch in both regions. The first 7 weeks the scale was barely moving, but over the last week and a half I've suddenly dropped 3 lbs (6 lbs total since starting JMBR). My clothes do fit much, much better and I was able to wear a tank I hadn't worn in over 3 years. Woohoo!
