Zig-zagging is going fine. I feel like I'm on a perpetual cheat day, but I am doing a good job of bouncing between near-maintenance and 400 cals below. I'm trying to psych myself up to see a small GAIN - something I have not yet seen on this journey. But I know this helps a lot of people jump-start the loss, so I'll grit my teeth and deal with it.
On another note, ladies, call your friends. Just say hi, ask how they are. Go see them. I kept meaning to call my friend, Jane. We hadn't met for lunch, or gone on one of our walks together just so we could talk, in a long time. I wrote her a letter at Christmas that went in her card, promising to call soon. Tonight I learned that Jane was struck by a tree as someone was cutting it down on the public walking path she was enjoying. She died. I hadn't called yet.0 -
