    after my ex husband and I split up I lost 45 pounds and he suddenly couldn't live with out me. He cheated for three years I found out and I'm not taking him back, but he tries real hard

    Same. Quite a bit more complicated than just a crush, but yeah, I'm hoping he realized he f**ked up.

    this is the story of my life too! Usually though it comes about when exclusivity comes around. Like, here we are, have been dating, then all of a sudden it shows up they're in a relationship with someone else. I'm in that situation again right now, and it hurts a lot especially after their actions/words make you think otherwise. Sometimes I have taken the person back and its worked out wonderfully. This time around, absolutely not. I think it really depends on the situation. As mentioned before, a lot of times you'll realize you've outgrown the person :)

    yep. it was years instead of months later though.

    yes...numerous times, and I am "soft" and usually give them another chance.......don't think I will again. Ex husband...we broke up twice before getting engaged and he came crawling back both times, and I took him back....should have realized then..........ugh!
