Starting Weight and Goals

Options
Hi all! I'm excited for this challenge!

I'm wondering, if everyone is comfortable of course, if it wouldn't be a fun competitve motivator to list our start weight as of May 1, and then we can update the weight weekly as the month goes by? Then at the end of the month, we'll see how far we all have come.

What do you all think?

May 1st was 190, May 7th weighed 186...I have also been measuring and I have lost a few inches which is more exciting than the 4 pounds!

I agree 100% that inches are more important. I haven't updated my measurements. It seems like when I think about it I can't and when I can, of course, I don't think about it!! LOL

congrats on your inches!!! Keep it up!

    I like this idea.
    May 1st: 164
    May 8th: 165.

    Yeah. I gained a pound.
I hope to start to LOSE again. Go down. I have lost an inch in a month, but I hope my weight starts showing some progress too! I want to be smaller and leaner!

Don't get discouraged if you gain a pound or two. Especially if you are strength training. Remember, muscle weighs more than fat. (But looks better in clothes! :))

I hope that everyone has a great week!!

Should we pick a particular day of the week of "weigh in" for our challenges?

I think that's a great idea! What about the end of the week like Friday or Saturday?

Yeah, I think one set day is a good idea too. I usually do monday mornings, but a weekend day would be better because then I would take more time to do measurements too.
