  Ok so All of my GALPALS who have a FITBIT who wish to take part in this challenge, please consider signing up. 10,000 steps per day for 30 days= 300,000 for month. You can break it up..do more or less. So long as we keep moving our feet. I am finishing up one I took part in in May of 310,00 steps and it is sooooo motivating to me. If you , for any reason, cannot do enough please don't worry. There will be no one judging , criticizing , negative comments etc. We are here for the same reason to live longer healthier lives. I know several of you are considering buying a FITBIT. Now would be a great time. Your friend, Di:glasses: :flowerforyou:

can we translate that into miles too for us who don't fitbit? I'd love to join in on a challenge. My pedometer is crap. I have a HRM that I still don't know how to use so I can't justify a fitbit. But I track my mileage with the treatmill or my cell phone.0

Scoobydo: Walgreens has a free pedometer on a challenge they are sponsoring , if its still in effect. There is a site called WALK COUNTER...you can download the app to your cell phone. Thats what my daughter and Grandaughter did because they didn't want to invest any $ right now. In fact, I also did until I decided i wanted the FITBIT. Try that. Sure hope you join in, my friend.0 -

I don't have the FitBit but my pedometer is good for measuring the steps and miles. How do we record it? I was in one challenge but we kept up with it until the end of the week and then sent it to someone.0
-
Faye and ALL...I have asked for help so everyone can come back and post each day on their June1- 30 dates calendar they make themselves...My example is above your post...HELP SOMEONE .. If anyone can explain to me how to please feel free to.0
-
June 1st is coming soon...If you want to log just once a week please use these dates , all are on a sat.
June 2
June 9

June 30
So June 30 will be final date. Good luck and please do not worry about how many steps so much as the fact that you are just moving to keep up with your family and especially your Grands. Some don't have Grandchildren....Just do it For YOU.0 -
I'll try. won't be too accurate cause my counted in on my phone which i don't wear all day....don't want bone cancer in my hip!
count me in. i'll use my phone and maybe pick up another cheap pedometer. my last cheap one didn't work.0 -
Don't know for sure if you knew I wanted to or not Di, but I do. I've even got the Fitbit ordered, but until then I'll use my old pedometer. Do we just keep a calendar or notebook and record it each night? I don't know how to post it on here each night..I guess whatever works for us works for you? Lol0
