Friday weirdos!

Seems like other groups have special crap happing on Fridays... how about we totally copy them?? Instead of boobs or enriching debates, we all post one really weird physical trait we possess? (LOL, WTF? I'm ridiculous)

Here's mine:

I had a really bad sinus infection in my late teens that messed up my nasal passages. Now whenever I take a large, deep breath in through my nose, it makes a high-pitched whistling sound. It frequently occurs when I'm crying, which always makes me laugh through the tears.

    OK, I'll play...

Aside from the fact that when I smile, my left eye is smaller than the other, it also has a tiny brown fleck in it.

    See....

One of my kidneys has a y-shaped tube leading from it to my bladder, instead of a regular tube, like wholesome people have.

I don't have a picture, but I have a weird toenail. The second toe on my left foot kind of points up like a tee pee instead of lying flat like the others. The weirdest part is it's genetic. My mom has the exact same toenail. It's the reason I keep my toenails short and painted at all times. It takes attention away from it.

Does it affect your fitness stuff? I think one of my legs is a bit longer as well, and it makes me feel lopsided in my running/ellipticaling.

FREAK! lol... huh... does it do anything unusual? Or is it just hanging out like, "hey, I'm part of your kidney."

I like it too! Emily's parents just got a new dog that has an eye the opposite of that. It's brown with a bluish fleck. Very pretty and interesting.

Genetics are freaking cool. My mom and her first two kids (me and my bro) all have a mole in the same place on the same toe.

My mom's is too. Plus, one of her legs is thinner than the other. It's because she had polio as a child.

Oh, wow. Scary! (I mean, I assume polio is scary)

I got mono when I was a freshman in high school and then got some nasty valley fever-like illness right after.

I ended up damaging my throat I was so sick and coughed so much.

You know those bumps you get in the back of your throat when you are sick? Well, I always have them - they're like scars, I guess. As a result, my airway is very small and, when I cough, it sounds like a squeaky toy, even 15 years later.

    Seriously:

I have a TON of moles. They are everywhere.

Also, my right calf is much bigger than my left but my left is more defined, yet they are the same strength.

That is weird. Especially that they are the same strength.

    Temporary?
<<< I broke a blood vessel in my eye, takes two weeks to heal. Sucks talking to someone and you just know they are staring at it.

My weird trait is also my stupid human trick -- I can move each one of my toes independently from the others. That's right, like fingers. If I ever lost my hands I could still play the piano with my toes (that is, if I played the piano I could).

Speaking of moles, I have one over my upper lip. A mean kid in middle school accused me of having some kind of disease, so for years I was self conscious about it. In fact, a lot of my pictures, I'm tilting my head the other way to conceal it. I didn't even know I was still doing that.

But here you can see how my left eye is smaller, the brown fleck, and the mole on my lip (and the gap between my front teeth...ugh).

Girl, that ain't no gap! My tooth gap is genetic, too, but not just with my mom. Literally every blood relative on my mom's side has or has had one.

I have a scar under my eye from when I was a small toddler. I never even notice it, but when I first meet people they stare and ask me what happened. I have to think about what the eff they're talking about.

My kidney tube just transports liquid waste products to my bladder.

I can wiggle my baby toes without my other toes moving. It's pretty cool, and a real hit at parties.

I got made fun of when I was a kid for my face mole too. It's hard to see in pictures though because it gets lost in my smile lines. I'm considering having it removed before it gets huge with age.

And yeah, your gap isn't bad at all. My dad and sister, and my oldest daughter (although we don't know if her permanent teeth will have it) have pretty big ones.

Thank you. It's an old picture. My son is that age now! And looks almost exactly the same but with shorter hair and slightly less chubby.

I've come here to say hello to my fellow tooth-gap, mole-having and ****-eating dogs kindred spirits.

My tooth gap has almost closed up due to some late wisdom teeth coming in and pushing it together. Boo.

To add, my ears have flaps at the top and look like they're melted. It's great. If I can get a decent picture with my ****ty phone, I'll post it.
