New Month! Thank goodness - May was a booger for me.:frown:

Please join us as we start another Walk Challenge this month.:flowerforyou:

Set your goal for the month and post your results, daily, weekly, whatever works for you! We welcome any and all walkers, the more the merrier!

I have my plan down for the month and shooting for 60 Miles again. Going to push to the end and hopefully finish strong this month!

As Leslie says, get off the couch, tie up those shoes, get some water and start walking!:wink:

    I'm new here, but LOVE Leslie, so I'm in :)

    I am studying for my licensing exam, so I'm setting my goal for 50 so I'm not disappointed if I don't make it. I'll shoot for more, but I know this is taking up a bunch of time! Can't wait to get the exam over with!

    I'd love to join!! I have the 3 mile walk but am looking at getting a 4mi and 5mi one as well. I'm going to put my goal as 60 miles for June. I try to walk or run/jog as well so I'll add in all the mileage. I just hope I can get started and stick with it. I don't know if I'll be able to fit it in tonight But I'll be on the ball tomorrow :)

    I'm going to try again this month, but this time I'm setting my goal at 25 miles, hopefully I will be able to do more. I think I was a little bit eager last month and set the goal to high (for a beginner)....I'm also looking into joing the YMCA for other workouts

    Good to see you all;-) I'm walking with you again.
    Last month I didn't reach my goal - AGAIN:grumble:
    So for this month I set it to 60 miles walking with you and Leslie :-) I can't run 10 miles or more/week AND walk 20...I just won't have the time. Our guests will leave tomorrow and tomorrow evening I start walking again.

    Thanks! It's become my mantra, anytime I wanna quit just because I'm a little tired, I stretch it out while saying this to myself and get back to it!

    Good morning- new to MFP, and Leslie but loving both!
    Just did a quick 1 mile after working a 12 hr night- trying to fit in working out with my work schedule has always been a stumbling block. Even thought I got out an hour late today, I still pulled out a faith walk and will take a quick bath, then some zzz's.
    My goal for June is 11 miles/week- one on work days, 2 on off days. Will be a challenge w guests in a for a week, but eager to see what I can do!

    so glad i found this group...i have done Leslie in the past and got my mom hooked on it. She just ordered me (a total surprise) the WATP's DVD and i just completed the 3 mile walk today...i am up for this challenge and want to do 60 miles of walking by the end of June too...I also love the treadmill and outdoor walking (i use endomondo to track miles) so may mix it up. I love the WATP's DVD with the stretchie ...really killed my arms

    I just saw the new challenge and wanted to jump in. I've just recently got back on the band wagon (April 25th) and into my Leslie DVD's so I'm setting my goal for 60 miles for the month of June.

    Here's my totals so far

    Friday 6/1 = 3 miles
    Saturday 6/2 = 4 miles

    Goal: 60 Miles
    Left: 53

    (feels so good to sweat, sweat, sweat!)

    Today I did 5M Walk it off and Tone it up - always a good one!

    GOAL - 60 MILES
    So Far - 12 Miles
    TO GO - 48 Miles

    Tomorrow I do water aerobics and in a effort to shake things up going to do some Jillian Michael's. See you back here on Wednesday when I walk with Leslie again!

    Takes me 90 minutes start to finish. That's with 2 one minute breaks in between to change shoes (my arches get achey....I think I need to do something about that)

    did a little C25k today on the treadmill along with an extra 15 mins..watching HGTV love that channel

    Can I join you guys again It's good to see so many still here. The last couple of months I've been working on my own because of time. But i think it helps if you have to report to someone. So I'm back. last month I completed 80 miles. I think I'm going to try it again for june.

    With the first 3 on Sunday, 5 Really big miles on Monday and 3 (Fat burn walk) I did just this morning I'm down to 49 miles.
    This time I will do all miles.

    Guys, I have a knee injury that causing me great pain so I'm going to stop exercising until I go to the doctor next week. I am so bummed about it. :sad:

    I am in the same boat as Tidy. I twisted my ankle when I did the 5 mile a few days ago. ouch! Not bad, just enough to really hurt. Just letting you know I didn't fall off the wagon!!!! lol
