Got this from another group.
Challenge for the month that we do something every day.It doesnt matter if its the 30DS,a 5k run ,10 mins walking to the local park or 5 jumping jacks. We just need to get ourselves moving!
Yesterday I tried 30DS but hated it LOL
Today I am going to go for a run.
What are you going to do?

Hated the 30DS really and Jillian is so likable...LOL
It was tough for me and I vowed to make it through but I did make it to level 2.
Hmm it is another rainy day here and jam packed! I have a full day of deliveries and a few other errand. Promise to sneak something in just not too sure what the day will bring!0 -
It was my 2nd time trying it and though the reason I hated it last time is because I was still smoking and foubd it too difficult.Alas,no I just hate all the hopping around!
Rainy day here too and I had planned on going out for a run but looks like it will be the treadmill.0 -
Going to the gym to do my usual elliptical routine then going to walk around the farmer's market, finding healthy yummy produce and eggs0
-
I try and get on the treadmill for 45 minutes a day. Unfortunately its in my living room and my bf , his daughter and her friend are here today and i don't like working out infront of people. Luck enough for me I work in a very active dementia unit and burn over 1200 calories per night at work. That will be my workout today!0

Although I really do want to try the 30 DS...I don't do well with videos. Wondering if I should purchase it or if it would be a waste of $.0
-
I love this!
Yesterday I did 30 min on the elliptical.
Today: 60 min of Barbell blast (weight training class @ the gym).0 -
I did Jilian's Ripped in 30 (week 3) today! Tough, tough workout but I'm glad I did it! Keep it up, Ladies!!!0
-

I would see if you could borrow it somewhere or maybe even at the library?0 -
I absent mindedly (is that a word?) kepy my HRM on while I have been cleaning the house since I've returned to the gym... So far (including my 450ish workout this AM) & I just saw my HRM hit 2,007 Calories woohoo. I def don't feel guilty drinking a skinny girl margharita while scrubbing & dubbing the house!! woop woop... back to my 3rd load of laundry and time to run the vaccum0
-
I did 30 mins on the treadmill and 30 mins on the bike at the gym yesterday. Today I swam in the pool with my daughter for 45 mins doing laps and relays Getting ready to go out and mow the yard now!0
-
What type of HRM are you all using?0
-
I did 15 mins of kettlebells earlier and was planning to go for a run but dont feel very well so the couch it is!0
-
20 minutes of just dance 3 and LOTS of cleaning today!!0

That's awesome. I mowed the lawn... according to my ped. that's almost 4 miles!0 -

Haha, that's awesome! If I was drinking a margarita while scrubbing... well, let's just say I wouldn't be scrubbing long. I've got to look into these skinny girl margaritas. And making pina coladas with my Silk Pure Coconut Milk. Guess I'll have to burn a lot of cals during the day for that reward!
I need to (a) find my HRM and (b) get some batteries in it so I can figure out what I'm actually burning instead of using the MFP estimate. I bought it a few years ago but never could figure out how to work the thing. I'm pretty technologically minded but not terribly coordinated, ha!0 -
Ok...i may be a big dummy here...but what the heck is an HRM??????0
-
morning all! I did the first day of 30DS.
I can see where it could be a little tricky. I'm a little sore from Saturday's gym/cleaning session. Sunday I took the day off from "sports bra activity" but I'm sure I did enough around the house to justify my handful of chocolate covered raisins... mmmm0 -
HRM-Heart rate monitor!
Did 40mins in total on treadmill today and covered 4.7km.0 -
Just got off my treadmill as well! Did 2.56 miles and burned 423 cals! I do this daily and love it! It's really helping my 'trouble spots' which are my legs and bootie0
-
I already workout every day
on my "days off" I go for a 30-90 min walk0 -

Level 1 of the 30DS is on Youtube. Give it a try by watching it online.0 -
I'm in week 2 of Power 90, so I'm working out every day at 6am, except on my 1 rest day each week. That day I'm trying to burn a couple hundred doing something - biking, walking, whatever.
Going to break out that just dance Abba tonight and see where that takes me. I cannot find my HRM! Went to look for it in the box and it's gone. Dollars to donuts it's in some kid's toybox in my house... argh! I'm sure I'm not burning as many calories on sculpt days as I am on the cardio days, so I'm forced to estimate until I know for sure.0 -
20 min on the spinn bike this AM. it's somethin'!!0

After reading everyones reviews on here it sounded that JM's Ripped in 30 was a better video / workout. So, I bought RI30 & now that I have to wait for it to come inthe mail I have been youtubing the 1st level of 30DS.
Check out Amazon, I found RI30 there and it was about $10 with shipping. Totally worth it to me0 -
Back in to the gym today - X-55 class (radical fitness) Works on legs mainly but also arms, bottom and belly too. Love it.0
-
I have been doing Zumba for about a week now and already feel different!! I have never done it before and am not particularity coordinated but I get by ;D I love it because its dosent feel like a workout!!!
Today : ZUMBA!!!!0 -
I did an hour on the treadmill last night and burned 450 calories... even though I was dog tired! I popped the move "Gone" into the DVD player and watched it while I walked/jogged! Felt soooo good afterwards!0
-
Today will be day 4 of level 1 of 30DS, I enjoy it, and I got mine from walmart for $10.....However I am in Canada so don't know if that makes a difference. They had about 7 Jillian DVDS.....I can't wait til I can get through level 1 and think, wow that wasnt that hard after all. My goal is at least 20 days in the month of June so, so far doing ok.0
-
How are you finding it? I was thinking of starting it on the days that I can't get to the gym. I looked at it on you tube last night and alot of it is very similar to the x-55 class I got to on wednesdays.
Off to the gym today for full body workout with weights and cardio.
Have also joined a business house swim relay.. just weekly timing of 4 of us doing 100m each. did pretty good for a bunch of chicks that don't usually swim lengths.. hoping to get fitter and faster as I go along.0 -
Very bold here.Have done nothing for the last two days.
A neighbours son died on Monday which rocked us all and then on Thursday we got thrown a curve ball about one of our kids that is going to need surgery so not really in the humour for anything.
Onwards and upwards from now on though!!0
