Hi
Bene reading everthing and it all makes perfect sense.
Worked out BMR at 1742
TDEE2091
20% reduction 1673

So I basically have to eat 1673 to lose weight no more than 1742 at any rate
Struggling on the exercise front at the minute as 2 kids and not very supportive husband means I can't get to a gym. Got some dvd's (can I still do 30day shread?) so I think I'll be able to do those.

Do I still eat back if I do exercise? And if I can't will I still lose?
Feels like all my life I've heard eat lower cals to lose now I'm panicing!!!
But I know I need to stop starving myself all day so I can have something nice for my tea!
thanks all

    Welcome to the group :)

One of the more experienced members can chime in on your totals, but you should never be eating less than your BMR. You may need to do a 15% cut instead of the 20% brings you below your BMR figure

    Hiya,

You must not eat below your BMR, so you need to either change your cut to 15% or redo you stats and review you activity (I made the same mistake and Lucia put me on the right track) (i put light and i was actually moderate)

You add in your exercise into the scooby calculations and then you don't eat back unless you have an unusually high burn rate (that's what i've read)

Do you want to post your stats and see what the other calculators people use says?
    Age
    weight
    height
activity level (describe what you do each week, including work type and exercise)

    good luck ;)
