How often do you recalculate your TDEE? As your weight fluctuates, I imagine TDEE will have to be readjusted?
I've put on some weight in my upping and reset...started about 3.5 months ago. Do I recalc based on my gain...or is that just a "fake" gain (feels darn real to me though!). Should I just recalc once I'm ready to cut? I know, it may not have changed much once I apply the formula, despite the gain. But the question still stands for once I start losing again.

Yes this is a good question? Do you keep recalculating every 5lbs in either direction? Or do you hold on on the upswing and adjust on the down?0

Its 5lbs lost...not gained. Remember when your weight goes up its not real FAT..0
