Which numbers to follow?

This'll be my third week doing the whole eat more thing. Good times! However, recently there was a post about which formula to use to determine one's cut, and now I'm a little confused. On the default version of scooby's calculator (scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/, I believe I was first linked to this), I got a BMR of a 1400 or so and a cut of 1909 with the lightly active setting. But I tried it with the 'accurate' calorie counter (http://scoobysworkshop.com/accurate-calorie-calculator/) on it's default setting, and I got a BMR of 1365 and my cut was 1798. Kind of wondering what I should be listening to, atm. It's not a huge difference, but I am curious, because if the second numbers are what I should be using, I've been eating with a 5% cut instead of a 15% so far.

I just figured I should ask now since I'm not too far in. :) Any help is appreciated!

Hi! No not a huge difference at all.
Are you sure your activity is light though?
If yes, then Id go with eating 1800 for a few weeks and see what happens.
Did you see any changes in weight or measurements yet?

Hiya! Ack, no. I meant moderate. I spaced on that, sorry.

I did see a change in weight, but it's an upward trend. I was about 140.8 and now I'm somewhere around 143. My measurements seem to be about the same, though. I've been extra busy lately, and more physically active than usual, so I figured it was just water. But that seems fine seeing as it's only been about two full weeks, right?

Yes its still early days! :-)
Im eating 1900 and my bmr is also 1400.
Im going into week 7 soon and are now seeing measurement losses and it looks like the scale might be cooperating too finslly...hehe, still early enough so Im patient.
Stick to 1900 I think, in three weeks you hardly have a weight increase,so that is great!

All right, yeah. I'll stick to 1900! I'm already used to eating this anyway, haha. Thanks for your help!
