Do you shave your chests? Do you trim your nose hairs and keep your eyebrows shaped? What about ear hair? Obviously you can tell me if you shave your junk too, I'm not shy...
But the reason I ask is because Sean has started taking more of an interest in taking care of his body (both fitness and grooming), and I wanted to know what sorts of things other guys were doing. Sean sorta shaved his chest yesterday, but it's more stubble than baby-butt, and it's a little scratchy. I love the look, but it hurts my face skin!

I like hairy chests. Not a fan of the ken-doll look. My husband also has a hairy back, which I could live without. It's getting worse as he gets older too. He's agreed to shave or wax it the next time we go on a beach vacation.0

Anything below my neck is free range, baby!
Above the neck, I trim. Ear hair, nose hair, eyebrows (I use trimmers with an adjustable setting and have to be really careful not to use the wrong one lest I go full Geldolf from The Wall, which has almost happened a few times).0 -
I do! I don't like having a jungle0

What do you use? A razor? Trimmers?0 -
Do my man's for him because he doesn't give a flying f' about these things so I need to. I use a trimmer usually, on the 'sensitive areas' in particular. I leave his manly chest patch alone though.0

I actually use beard trimmers keeps it even0 -
i have to do periodic ear grooming. it's a greek thing, i think.0

I never did before weightloss, but once I did I started shaving. Just using trimmers. I was cutting it pretty close for a while and now I'm letting more grow back. It's never easy to know for sure...0

trimmers are the easiest and seem to prevent it from being as stubbly. You could try sugaring, if you have a good place in your area (it should not be sugar wax using strips - it should be just a ball of the sugar mixture). Its slightly less painful than waxing. But it seems that guys body hair is more um... deeply imbedded? Or they are just bigger babies because general consensus is that it is horribly painful. You can't do this on ...CERTAIN areas. Ahem. So trimmers there. Anyway the girl I go to for sugaring my ladybits said she had a guy in who wanted back and chest done, and she only got half of it done before he apologized and said he couldn't stand anymore and had to go.
She and I agree that back is probably less painful than front, skin is thicker there and that usually is less-hurting.0 -
I pluck any stray nose hairs.
I like when they trim my eyebrows during a haircut. I should do that myself.
I started shaving my gonad region, with trimmers. Its been a lot less swampy down there.
I had my back lazered, but it is coming back.
I'm also curious if I should start shaving my chest and legs. I used to back when I swam in school.0 -
This is all very good info, guys!! Sean's long-time best friend is in the film industry, and we hadn't seen him in a couple years. He was out for the wedding, and obviously cleans the hair off his upper body (and works out - a lot).. and now Sean thinks he needs to take care of himself. Halleluja Hands!!
But yeah, I can handle stubble-ish hairs everywhere but his chest. I like it hair-free, but need it smooooth.
You guys are awesome.0 -
I only have one requirement (other then actual showering)
There better be no hair, or I ain't goin down there.

I am doing good if I shave my face on a regular basis0

I remember seeing an electric nose/ear hair trimmer a couple of years ago, and thinking to myself, "Wow! That would be kind of nice to have." Then, it struck me. I'm old.0

Nose, ears, brow, neck...yes.
Down below.....ehhhh kept sort trim
Everything else, no.
Few days ago I bought a sleeveless running shirt, it looked like I was smuggling a long hair chihuahua under both pits, so yea I trimmed my pits.0 -
Face: Keep a light beard/stubble
Armpits: I trim it down when it gets a bit too bushy
Chest: let it grow. I'll sometimes trim the hair around my nipples because it grows thicker there and it can start to look kinda weird. I'll also get the hair from my neck/clavicle area from time to time.
Crotch: I use beard trimmers for this area. I keep the main patch trim, I remove the hair from under my balls, etc.0 -
Trimmers/Razor for everything above the neck.
Trimmers for pubic hair. Razor blade on the balls.
I might trim my chest hair 1-2 times per year, but not too low, just to get the long ones.0 -
Gotta trim the bushes to make the big ol' tree stand out!0

Junk and nose....not in that order.0

I put way too many hours in at the gym to cover it up with hair. And one must trim the nose, ears, and eye brows, to do otherwise would be uncivilized.0
-
Any particular trimmer? I tried shaving my arm/leg hairs with the attachment on my shaver but it cuts it too close and I hate the stubble. I'd like to make like I just have alot less hair. Not like a male porn acter. haha0

Yup... I make sure that my eyebrows get trimmed every time I get a haircut, and also make sure they get the little hairs inside my ears. I trim my chest and pubic hair once a month or so.0
