Please tell me there are no more anterior raises :) I've been too much of a wimp to even peek at level 2 so far lol

There is all sorts of arm stuff! New squats . . . I think the cardio is harder but it still has jump ropes. . only double jumps? I just did regular. . I hate those!

    You will do great!

Thanks :) Hopefully I can stick with it like you! I'm ok with cardio since in the past I've usually been a 100% cardio 0% strength person but for some reason those anterior raises KILL me so I guess I gotta work on my shoulders more

    Level 2 Day 2!!!

I'm lovin this! I am able to jump out of bed excited to start my work out. I never thought I'd love working out. The double jumprope is a bit much...think I need a tighter sports bra lol:ohwell: . Still taking a few 5 second breaks but I love the results it's giving me.

I love the results too. . . I do wish the scale would reflect a loss rather than a gain of a couple pounds. . but I'm losing inches for sure!

ha ha - I seriously hate the anterior raises too! I always feel like I'm doing them wrong, and by the end of the set, my shoulders hurt. It's the only one I feel like that on still. Pretty much all the others, I feel like I could go with 8lbs instead of the 5's I'm currently using.

finished Day 10 this morning... On to level 2 tomorrow! I plan on starting with the 3 lb weights for the first few days, then move back up to 5 lb weights.

bmfoley - I titally agree - losing inches is good. losing lbs AND inches would be nice. But I can also feel that I'm gaining cardiovascular strength, so that's a plus. At the end of this 30 days, I hope to start back into C25K, and maybe keep doing 30DS on my non-run days.

I ended up dropping down to 3lb for those and 5lb for the rest because my shoulders HURT...not sore, more like joint pain. I don't need some super jacked shoulders so I'm cool with the lower weight. Plus I would like my shoulders to still function past the age of 30 so I figured I should tone it down :)

I'm having to take plenty of breaks on level 2. Feeling a bit wussy about it. Also I'm using 2 lb weights. I can't imagine more. Those stupid things where you squat and raise arms into a V? Uh uh. They kill me.

I do have a question that I'm hoping someone can answer. On the ab work for circuit 2 (at least i think it's 2) where you hold the weights up...is she twisting one way or the other when she raises her legs? I can't tell.

And I dont really understand the double jumprope...is it just that you pump your arms twice?

Hi - On the part where she's raising her legs, it looks to me like she's going to one side, then middle and then the other side when she raises her legs. That is a painful part!
I think double rope is just jumping higher???? I stick with single because I can do them all now without stopping and feel thats a good enough workout for me :)

    I just saw this I'm sorry :(
Yes Level 2 is making me feel wussy too. But every day is getting easier. I only have 5 lb weights so I am doing the best I can pushing but going slower than they are. The squat V raises kill my arms and I don't know how she squats with her lower legs so strait! I can't do that my knees go forward.
On the abs where she is raising both legs towards her arms she is going up to one weight then up to the other to work your obliques (sp?).
The double jump rope....yeah uh I don't bother I do single ......she looks like she's trying to fly....I think shes jumping higher and twirling her arms 2 times.
    Hope that helps!!
