On medication that makes you gain weight

I'm on a ton of medication and a lot of it makes me gain weight. So in order for me to lose weight I'll just go off my meds( not a good idea). I don't eat much in a day and I have no appetite rarely. It's mostly the meds. So let's post tips on how to lose weight. Blog your progress ups and downs. Talk about what meds your on and if you found something different that worked for you. Blood Clotting meds
I am a 2 time stroke patient and 1 time heart surgery and I will forever be on a blood clotting med. The most common complaint is weight gain. Before my first stroke I was 150 now 3 years later I am 175.

birth control :-(
Since I have started birth control after my now 4 year old was born my weight is out of control. When I stop taking it then my body goes crazy. I know this is a century old problem but I want to conquer it.
Bipolar meds
i was diagnosed with bipolar when I was 25. I was on seroquel for a long time and a lot of it. 50 mg in the afternoon and 800mg at bedtime. Within about 6 months I went from 130lbs to 260lbs.
