Energy Gels
I just finished marathon training a few weeks ago, and i was consuming what felt like tons of energy gels. I used the Clif Shot Blocks and Clif Gels. Those I KNOW are both vegan. Anyone else have any favorites? I heard something about making your own gels out of chia seeds? has anyone done this?
Achievements
I ran 5k in 30mins on the treadmill today. It was hard but a great achievement for me.
BREAKFAST on RACE DAY
I'm planning to do the Birmingham Great Run in October, which I expect will take me around 3 hours. I quite often will run before breakfast, without any great loss of energy, but that's usually only an hour or so. Running knee
Starting to suffer from pain in both my knees every time I run. I am worried this could have been caused by my vegan diet (approximately 1 year vegan now). Anyone have experience with this, or suggestions? I really want it to get better so I can start running again.
