Severe Degenerative Osteoarthritis
I don't know who started this group...I'd like to thank you for it. I am trying to lose weight so I can have a total knee replacement done. Hi - I'm finding exercise so painful even walking is painful. Any ideas anyone? I have just got a gravity walker as I don't have to bend my knees and I'm hoping this may help boost weight loss.

I have been having trouble with knees since my teens & recently got diagnosed with OA in both knees after finally admitting the pain was getting the better of me! I have since had to give up my job a a care worker as the people I was visiting were needing less care than I was haha! Work were very good & kept reducing…
Anybody using an "Unloader" knee brace?
I just got an "Unloader" knee brace for my left knee and I'm starting to use it more each day. I just thought I'd ask to see if others have used one of these braces and what kind of experience you've had. Thanks.
Recovering from Knee Replacment
Hi all, I am new to this site as well as this group. I am 8 months post Total Knee Replacment surgery and trying to get the movement back in my knee. I know losing some more of my weight will help in that area. I am 11 pounds above my goal weight. I still can't do too many different exercises but do walk when possible…
Infrared Saunas
I was recently diagnosed with Osteoarthritis and I have been reading about natural pain remedies. Does anyone have experience using far infrared saunas. They claim that they help with osteoarthritis.
