I am also another walker on my rest days. I usually strap the kids up and take them for a walk or do a light walk on the tredmill for a half hour or so. I like hearing how others walk as well, I used to always think that a rest day meant doing nothing active.

From my experience having more money means we are able to travel more and eat out more which probably can lead to weight gain. I just have to work on moderation and I have learned not every night out is a free for all else it will catch up to me.

When I was pushing myself super hard five days a week at the gym, my anxiety went through the roof and I started feeling depressed. I would cry at the drop of the hat, I was a mess. I had to take some time off from the gym and let my hormones regulate themselves. I do believe from experience that intense exercise without…

I use Dave Killer bread, thin sliced has 60 cals a slice. I also am a huge fan of Ezekiel brown rice tortillas. I have tried the 40 calorie bread and thought it was horrible, not much to it at all.

Lately I have been getting it done around 6:30 before the kids wake up, sometimes I will wait till after they are up and we eat breakfast. They are toddlers and the attention span on them is short so it is harder to work out with them now. I go back to teaching in the fall so I am a little worried about finding a good…

I eat it with yogurt and peanut butter for a snack, so one serving is perfect for me!

Creature of habit over here as well. I have eaten the same breakfast (oats/protein powder/berries/yogurt/flax) for several years. Lunch I always have a tortilla with avocado and some sort of Lean Cusine meal so that can vary. Snacks are pretty much homemade protien balls, fruit, cereal, and quest bars. Dinner is always a…

I am the worst at this. I push and push until it hits me hard. I have seriously overtrained twice in my life, totally messed with my hormones and the first time took an entire year to recover. The second time was recently and I am still trying to get back into things without pushing myself to hard. I just honestly love to…

I think it really depends on the individual. I know when I was working out for an hour 6 days a week, I couldn't handle it. It was just too much with trying to be a mom of two toddlers and little sleep. I now workout 4 sometimes 5 days a week and the other days I am active by walking moderately. I feel like my body just…

I love the new cauliflower rice steamer bags, an entire bag 80 cals and it fills you up!

I also eat the higher percentage chocolate and find it very easy to fit it in my calorie range. I buy the special dark Hershey Kisses, 20 cals a kiss and have just one after each meal. Also Ghirardeli makes mini squares with just 36 cals for the special dark and they also have ones with just 50 cals that are bigger. I love…

I have been running for about 14 years. Through college I never found myself injured, the older I got the easier I found myself to be injured. I kind of go in spurts with running, I will start and go for a while and then move onto something different. I do find when I get injured though its more to me pushing more miles…

I have worn both my fitbit and polar chest strap during my workouts, I have noticed that my Fitbit underestimates by 100 calories compared to my chest strap. I have the Blaze, during cycling my heart rate might only top at 115 and my Polar will read 140 which seems more accurate. I have used my Polar for years and just…

I know when I am not working out I am a lot more aware of what goes in my mouth, so I can maintain and usually end up losing. When I am working out, I am more loose on my calories and more often than not probably go over and splurge more because I have that mind set that I will just work it off. I prefer to work out so I…

Most of the time I find mine to be pretty spot on with my TDEE here on MFP. There are some random days that I end up with a high number of active minutes and I know for a fact I didn't have that many active minutes. I mainly use mine for steps and rely on my Polar HR chest strap for a more accurate reading during my…

I had a problem with this and I still have to really work to exercise in moderation. There was a time when I was running 90-100 miles a week and eating nearly 2,000 calories a day. I was way too thin, my body shut down and my hormones/cortisol/blood sugar was all out of whack. I was out of exercising for over a year. Any…

I have my Fitbit hooked up to MFP and my TDEE has been pretty spot on with maintaining. I am 5'7 133 and maintain between 2,200-2,400 depending on my activity for the day.

I am a stay at home mom and I get anywhere between 7,000-10,000 steps a day not including exercise. At night I finally relax and watch an hour of tv without getting up...so that puts me at sedentary? I might also take an hour to sit down during my kids nap time....I don't think just sitting down for an hour during the day…

I have been drinking Diet Soda for years and no weight gain, maintaining perfect. I went on vacation one year and an older lady kept hassling me about drinking Diet Soda. She claimed that it will catch up with me and in a few years my waist line will increase. She was telling me this as she was guzzling down wine. Everyone…

I have one and I just don't wear it during my workouts. I use it just for my daily calorie needs. I too realized I was undereating when I realized how much I was burning from walks and daily cleaning. It can also be a motivator for me to move more. I used to think that if I exercised for just an hour a day that was…

I know for a fact when I was undereating and malnourished at one time my mental state was not okay. My hormones were all out of whack and I had no desire to do anything and I would cry at everything. Over time I got better and the more happier I became. I had more energy and wanted to do more things. I have read so many…

I love to eat more calories so that is why I add in more cardio to my routine...but I love weights as well. I have found more of a circuit type training works well for me and I enjoy it. I know if I focused on just lifting heavy I would see more result, but I also want to enjoy my exercise.

I find the strawberry jam and apple butter jam pretty good as well as the pancake syrup. Other than that all the other products I can't really stand.

3 cans of Diet Coke a day

Halo Top, Diet Coke, shirataki noodles, sugar free ketchup, fun size candy bars, quest bars, and veggies!

I am 5'7 closer to 5'8 and weigh around 133. I find that anything lower my body just freaks on me. I am very happy with my body but I wouldn't mind adding some more muscle. I am pretty much doing recomp, eating while maintaining and lifting weights. I believe your perfect weight has to be what makes you feel good. If you…

I have reactive hypoglycemia. I make sure I eat every 2-3 hours and I also have a blood sugar testing kit to monitor my sugar levels. When I get to about 70 I start feeling shaky and lightheaded. I have recently noticed that if I have a glass of wine or two the night before, the next day I experience it more frequently. I…

I have the Charge HR and find mine pretty accurate when it comes to daily calories burned without exercise. I have noticed that it can overestimate my exercise calories when I set it in exercise mode. I compared it with my polar chest strap HR and sometimes it would underestimate and other times it would overestimate. I…

Thanks for all the great advice! My husband and I just have two totally different views of eating. He has always been able to eat what he wants, how much of it, and has never had to worry about weight gain. He is lucky in that sense. It has always been a struggle for me, so sometimes he doesn't quite get that for me to…

I have my fitbit synced to mfp as well and I have it set to sedentary. If I get at least 10,000 steps my TDEE goes from 1,690 to 2,200. You better believe I eat those extra calories, but I am also maintaining. Now if I do nothing all day and get around 4,000 steps my TDEE stays around 1,700 calories.
