If you go into the recipes tab, you can click on the individual recipe. From there you can click "edit recipe" to add/remove ingredients. If you've already logged the recipe, it won't be updated though so make sure you remove it and then re-log it.

I lost around 22kgs after my diagnosis with PCOS and insulin resistance. I ate at a deficit and was careful with my logging. I cut out or found alternatives for things like pasta, bread and potatoes. During weight loss I ate around 150 grams of carbs per day or less. I aim for the same now in maintenance but I'm eating out…

It was a spinach, egg and feta kind of day for me! 2 spinach, mushroom and feta egg muffins with salsa and a small bowl of strawberries with greek yoghurt for breakfast: Spinach and feta omelette, salsa, mixed veggies with black beans and a slice of low carb (2 grams) high protein (12 grams) bread with some melted…

Or you could just learn to cook for yourself..? Definitely needed a bigger bowl for all this deliciousness. Sauteed black beans, mushrooms, onion and red pepper with zoodles, baby spinach, raw carrot, broccoli, a bit of cheese and some salsa.

On Sundays I make a batch of egg muffins (literally just whatever veggies you would normally have in an omelet, cheese if you want it and then I use 4 whole eggs and 190 grams of egg whites, poured into silicone muffin liners) and I have 2 of those for breakfast each day. Then I make enough of what I'm having for dinner…

I kind of fell off the maintenance bandwagon this week. Sorry for the picture-heavy post! I ate pizza: Raw/vegan chocolate mousse cake and salted caramel slice: A delicious mushroom veggie burger with a big ol' serve of fries: And waffles with strawberries, cottage cheese and light whipped cream: I started today off right…

Made lentil and veggie shepherd's pie for dinner tonight! The topping is a mix of low GI potato (Carisma) and cauliflower, to help keep the carb count down. And then lots of cheese of course!

I snack all day, every day. Around 10/10:30am I have a cup of chai tea (not chai latte which is full of sugar and calories though) with something sweet like a homemade muffin or 2 or 3 small cookies. Then around 3:30pm I have some apple and a string cheese or a Laughing Cow cheese triangle. Sometimes if I didn't have…

It was all through changing my diet. It's as simple as that. I ate on average 1200 calories a day and lowered my carb intake because I have insulin resistance.

Make them into meals instead. That way you can just add all the ingredients with one click and then change any measurements as needed. Add everything to breakfast one by one and then click on "quick tools" and select "remember meal".

I'm 5'4" and for most of last year I was around 150lbs. I started using MFP in September 2014. I'm now 105lbs and have been in maintenance since the end of March.

Are you sure it's the broccoli and not the cheese sauce? Do you get the same symptoms when you eat lightly steamed or raw broccoli by itself?

I'm 5'4" and have been maintaining around 105 to 108 lbs for the last few months. Looking back on the last few months, I've been averaging anywhere from 1330 calories a day to 1500. I've been increasing my calories very slowly because I don't want to risk going back to my old unhealthy habits. Just in the last few weeks…

Well tonight I tried to make cauliflower pizza crust. Emphasis on tried. My crust stuck to the paper so it ended up being too thin (I'm guessing I used wax paper instead of greaseproof paper, many of the recipes I read made a note of this but it was all I had and it didn't have any packaging telling me what it was!). It…

Since you're in maintenance mode now, maybe you need to look back on some old photos to help you see how far you've come? I do that to remind myself of the hard work I've put in but also to know that I could also very easily go back to how I was if I'm not careful. Another thing I like to do is work out first thing when I…

Also a fan of the spiraliser, I have a small handheld one that just does thinner veggies like zucchini and carrots. I didn't want to get a big countertop one since it really only has one use. I just bought a food processor and though I've only used it 3 or 4 times, I can definitely see it greatly impacting my cooking. Not…

And here are the date and nut energy balls, seen here with some vegemite chocolate! For any Australians on this board, Aldi has this amazing "diet" ice cream called Big Spoon Bits and Pieces. It comes in cookie dough flavour (on the right) and chocolate brownie (not shown). 60 grams of the cookie dough ice cream is only 76…

A batch of spinach, mushroom and laughing cow cheese egg muffins for the week (the silicone liners were perfect btw, they slid right out without any oil): Ate two for lunch with some leftover chilli and tomato sauce. The laughing cow cheese was amazing in it, better than the feta from last week (and feta is just about my…

I've never been a fan of buying snacks at the movies, it's way too expensive. I'm usually happy to go without anything these days but if I did want to take a snack, I'd bring popcorn from home (the one I buy is a salty/sweet combo and about 50 calories per 10 grams). Then I'd probably sneak in a can of diet coke too.

I lost around 50 pounds with minimal exercise, maybe a walk once or twice a week. I've only started exercising more now that I'm in maintenance, to help lose the extra fat that wants to hang around on my stomach.

Every Sunday morning. Sometimes I check in mid-week but I don't record that weight or let it bother me if it's up from Sunday's weight.
-
@tlharin Those pizzas look amazing! I've never heard of putting raspberries on pizza before, except on chocolate/dessert pizzas.

After months of research and deliberation (and waiting for a good sale), I finally bought my first food processor today! It's a handheld processor/blender/whisk all-in-one situation. There are so many recipes I've been wanting to try but they just weren't possible without a food processor. First up - cauliflower rice!…

Since we're on the topic of mothers, I thought I'd share my story. When I was around 10 years old my mother made me start counting calories. I was a little chubby but by no means obese. I had a weight watchers book and a note book and I had to write down everything I ate. I was the only person in the family who had to do…

Basically anything on this list. Soup is one of the easiest things to make. Not sure why you want to only make 1 or 2 servings though. You're better off cooking a whole batch and then freezing the rest for later.

Feta, havarti and cheddar omelette with some polony (fake meat) for dinner tonight!

Yep was just about to say, Coles have some Australian blueberries but they are more expensive of course. The rest of the frozen fruit is usually 3 bags for $10, I'm not sure if the Australian blueberries are included though! I hate how much we have to pay for fresh berries here :( definitely going to buy in bulk next…

I'm the same, I've always been a cereal person. Not toast, not eggs, not leftovers for breakfast. Always cereal. In the last few weeks I noticed myself not feeling well so I decided to switch over to eggs for breakfast. The problem I have is that I always crave something sweet after every meal. Having cereal for breakfast…

Today is a public holiday where I live and while I'm sure most people are using it as an excuse to sleep in, I used it as an opportunity to bake some egg muffins to be my breakfast for the week. I've been trying to eat more protein and less carbs for breakfast (I'm insulin resistant) which is difficult for me as I've…

Another stuffed mushroom (this one ended up face first on the plate though so it's not as pretty as yesterday's), broccolini and dijon baked tofu.
