Not sure yet - I go for the interview next Thursday and am hoping this is "the" one. Most of the offices I've worked at have a kitchen with a fridge and microwave.

Awesome! Keep em coming guys. I have an interview for next Thursday and am hoping this is "the" one. I am ready to get back to full time work which means bringing my lunch. Have been trying to make the whole food plant based meals a lifestyle for a couple of years now. Definitely going to try some of these. Really like the…

Wow - no empty nesters?

Riding 10.25 on my bike one day and walking 5 miles without feeling tired or winded!!!

Thanks guys - I will put these into place. The soy I have to watch how much I eat of it. None of the faux meat products agree with me. Have been kind of chicken to try tofu - Lol Maybe one day. I probably do snack too much but that will probably change once I'm working full time again and not just job hunting or counting…

A little of both. I have had severe reactions and ended up in the ER years ago. Certain things I get the same reaction every time. Like melons (watermelon, cantaloupe) immediately makes the roof of my mouth itch like crazy and hives around my lips. Bananas too. I go back every few months or so and try it again just to see…

Never mind I found it on YouTube

I'm still learning...can you send me the link or give me a little more directions to find the Half Size Me podcast and blog?

Congratulations! Sounds like a blast! Enjoy...

Especially one nicknamed "Grace" for tripping over air and spraining my ankle more than once. Lol. Hubby wouldn't like that. Crutches for six weeks each time. But that was years ago. I am on my way to being strong now!

Thanks I did check out the Nerd Fitness and will try that for awhile plus my cardio and see what happens. Thanks for the link!

The water aerobics has a lot of upper body moves but I'm just getting started on the upper body and anything besides my legs and cardio. The Nerd fitness routine looks like a good start. I do have a dumb bell dvd and some 5 pound weights. I took a strength class when I did have a gym membership and it really does make a…

Oh yes - I've been weighing and measuring my food and watching portion control. Hoping back on the whole food train Monday - had a little detour this past week as we transitioned from empty nest to having our son back home. Although I stayed within calories and even had significant deficit most days there were too many…

No. I have a lot of food allergies and for me eating a plant based diet makes me feel 100% better. I do eat meat when my son is home from college or if we go out to eat and there are no other options. Always feel ill afterwards. I'm not a sign toting vegetarian but I do believe that my body is happier and healthier when I…

Tried on my next size down shorts and only have about an inch to go. I think it will happen before the end of summer!

I'm doing MPG because WW is not in the budget right now and NOT is very similar. I was very successful on WW. I am a lifetime member, meaning I got to my goal weight and kept it off for six weeks. I actually kept it off for three years. When it crept back on I would head back to the meetings. Lost 20 - 30 pounds each time.…

It's called stress eating. Sometimes life gets in the way. Don't beat yourself up too badly. Start over on your next snack. Studying still requires midnight snack time, right? Choose an apple and drink lots of water. Focus on your studies and keep moving forward. You got this!!!!!

Wow! If I am the only one it should be easy to get a job. Lol

Thanks ya'll - haven't started yet. Hoping to get into the first dvd tomorrow. Chest and Back. Today I did an hour on the treadmill and I'm getting ready to do an hour on the stationary bike - It's been raining cats and dogs for two days now.

Will do just fine! Pleased to "meet" ya!

Really, nobody?

Mamamaltz3 - I did read it and have adjusted my calories to the BMR/TDEE. Will try that for awhile. I feel like I'm eating so much. Definitely a mental thing that I'll need to tweak. I need to get out of "diet" mode and get into lifestyle mode because that's what I'm going after. Miss_Aims I'm going to be tweaking what…

I started at 198 lbs. - going to weigh in on Sunday. Only weighing once a month so I don't get obsessed with the scale. I'm 5'8" so I'd like to get to 125 in a perfect world but would be happy with 135. But more than the number on the scale I want to be toned and strong. For instance, we have a wave-runner (4 person jet…

Thanks guys. So this week I am switching to just a Zoey walk - big block/little block which is a little over a mile (1.35 miles) and trying out the P90X dvds. What's BMR and TDEE? I'm still learning the ropes. Definitely don't want to burn out but I suppose I do get a little zealous. Lol Hubby had to drop off the car for…

GET YOUR GLASS OF WATER - IT'S LONG.....SORRY - Thanks ya'll. By the time I worked up to 4 1/2 miles I felt like a wimp if I didn't finish. I'm walking the subdivision 3 blocks over. If I just walk it -it's 3 1/2 - I usually do that at 18 minute mile and then hubby has my training partner Zoey (see profile pic) ready for…

Protein could help - maybe a cheese stick for snack? Or nuts?
