Over 50 job seekers

Anybody else in job search mode? I'm 54 & have put in 230 applications and gone on several interviews where I was overqualified and one that was way above my pay grade. I have a degree in office administration and 25 years experience mostly loan documentation. I have been thinking outside of the box but still have not found the job that fits.

Anybody else in this boat?

With discrimination laws you wouldn't think age and weight would out weigh the qualifications but I have a sneaky suspicion it does.

So although I cannot do anything about the date on my birth certificate I am doing everything I can to get the weight off and put my best foot forward.

How about you?
