It depends more on what comes out of their mouth than how much they weigh... If they start telling me about how they can't do lose the weight or how I must have the right genetics and they don't that is when I tend to start the judgin'.

Almost all of those hot sauces are just vinegar and peppers. Most are labelled zero calories... Sprinkle away.

I take a sauce pan with a lid. Dump in about a 1/4 cup of popcorn. Turn the stove on high and shake it over the burner. I use olive oil pan spray to get salt or other spices to stick to it. It is 31 kcals for a cup.

I have a few very strenuous hikes I'm training for.

Tacos - lots of variety.

No one tells you that you will get buzzed so much faster... (65 pounds ago it took three or four drinks to get buzzed. Now it takes like 1 1/2.)

I used to weigh daily but the number would seriously ruin or make my whole day. That was not mentally healthy. I have switched to once or twice a week. I typically weigh in the middle of the week after salt or alcohol weight from the weekend will have washed out of my system. I focus more on fitness goals rather than…

If you think your have a gluten problem do yourself the favor of going to the doctor. I have celiac disease and there often other problems associated with it. You need to get the full picture. Don't self-diagnose.

I have certainly been where you are and have felt what you felt. I think many of us have hit that "rock bottom" and had to make decisions. When you say that you want to change I have to argue that you may not be there yet. You may not want it badly enough yet. Really wanting it means having a lot of tough love and saying…

I'm in New Orleans (from Utah but moving to Phoenix in a month. I'm an elementary school teacher.

They make a lot of money selling advertising. They will always have a free version.

I will also endorse the Power 90 program. I bought it and love it. I've done two rounds. (The first time I did it I did the easy modification on some things. The second time around I was able to do the harder modification.)

I like to buy "rewards" that help me progress towards the next goal. One reward was getting a Fitbit. Another reward was picking up some weights to use at home. Another reward was buying the Power90 program. I feel like I "earned" something cool and it will ultimately help me on my journey.

If you get hungry eat more protein. It sticks with you longer and helps you feel fuller.

I will cook ahead for about three days. (I don't like to have pre-prepared food in the fridge all week long. Sometimes by Friday it is just not that fresh anymore...)
-
I use pan spray. I get the expensive stuff from Whole Foods. I think the brand is Spectrum. Olive oil. This brand does not leave any sort of weird taste.

I do the cooking so she doesn't have much of a choice unless she goes out and picks up her own food. I have only been cooking healthy meals for the last year now. There were some issues at the beginning but it is routine now. My problem tends to come when we go out. (We have crazy jobs so we tend to go out two, or three,…

You can start small. Instead of buying the big bag of chips buy the small bag.

I'm losing about five and half a month. I should be at about 165 by then.

Goal one for me was a haircut and color too. Goal two I bought myself a Fitbit. Goal three I want to buy myself a nice camelback for hiking. (I'm only about four pounds away from this goal/reward.) I haven't decided on the last two rewards yet.

Dangerously low deficits. Gross, processed, and expensive "food". No. My mom and sister did it. They lost a ton of weight super fast but had no energy at all. Plus it is a pyramid scheme. Those are always a no.

No one tells you that you will actually get tired of people commenting on your weight loss. That you will actually think less of them when they don't believe that you are simply eating less and working out.

I've done both. I love how simple MFP is. I think MFP allows you to be more balanced with your macros. WW penalizes fat content sooooo much. It still clings to that low-fat diet era thinking.

I LOVE this.

I like to get their oven roasted turkey breast, steak, chicken, and turkey burger. The meat is fresher and cheaper than local grocery stores. I LOVE that they have fresh berries year round too. I am willing to pay extra during the winter for raspberries. The wine selection is also incredible and very cheap.

I do intermittent fasting. So I only eat at lunch during work hours. I just eat a big lunch (like 500 calories). A snack in the car on the way to the gym after work and then dinner after the gym. I also invested in a mini-fridge and microwave in my classroom... You can pick up a minifridge for under $100. I keep fruit,…

Maybe you shouldn't weight daily? Five days of the scale not moving is not abnormal. Decide that you are in it for the long haul. There may be weeks of it not moving even if you are sticking to your calorie deficit. Weight loss is not linear.

If you have the HR it is factoring in intensity isn't it? It is monitoring your heartrate. I have the Flex and it can't tell the difference but the HR should.
