I started eating oreos today, and I can usually eat an entire sleeve, which is a lot of cookies and calories. I realized after two cookies that my craving was satisfied, and put them away. I'm impressed because I can go through an entire pack in 3 days. :blush:

I'm not too hung up on what they have been telling me. Sticking to CICO and I lost another 1.4lbs this week. :)

This is my first month, so I'm sure a lot of it just water weight at this point. But I'm eating 1550 calories a day, so I'm not quite at 1200. But I also eat about 1/4-1/2 of my exercise calories back every day that I do cardio. I guess I'll just stick with my current goals then. Thanks guys. :blush:

I'm 21! Been on and off mfp for about two years now, finally dedicated to the weight loss, after trying too many dead end diets in the meantime. Down 7lbs (probably just 4lbs fat) in the last two-three weeks. Feel free to add! I love motivating!!

It sounds like your insulin resistant, so I'd try eating healthier carbs and eating protein with every meal.

Thank you for all the advice everyone! I was just concerned because I saw a few times now people say you should eat about .8-1g of protein per lb of body weight, didn't know they meant lbm or around a goal weight, haha.

Typically someone who is insulin resistant tends to store more fat in the abdominal region, sadly. :/
