I know this is silly but I'm kind of sad I don't see a difference yet
I've only been going at this for a month so far, and I haven't noticed any difference in my body fat. It's a little discouraging, even though I told myself I wouldn't see a huge difference yet. This is the longest I've made it without binging back into unhealthy eating, so I guess I have something to be proud of there.

Should I update my goals every month if I lose more than the set goal?
Right now I'm trying to lose 3% per month for a couple months, then eventually move down to 2%. So far this month I've lost close to 6%, so I was wondering if I should change my goal to be 3% of my weigh in this month, or just keep a rough copy of the amount I wanted to lose per month for the next year. Amount of protein to eat in order to lose fat vs muscle?
I'm wondering how much protein to eat so that the weight I'm losing is from fat and not muscle. Right now my calories are set at 1550, so about a deficit of 500 per day, and I'm eating around 116 grams of protein. I'm just concerned that my macros aren't correct and I'm not losing fat.

What's the aloted amount of body fat % you can lose per month?
I figure if an overweight individual is trying to lose about 1-1.5lbs a week, it should be around 3-4% of their body fat every month?
