Weight loss happens in the kitchen, so if your goal is to lose weight concentrate on eating right. Squeeze in a workout when you can. You really just need to prioritize and quality time with the family may just be more important than spending an hour in the gym. Hope that is helpful, best of luck!

I weigh twice a day but only log the morning weight. I am a little nerdy when it comes to data collection ;) I don't get wound up about daily fluctuations so it works for me.

37 lbs in 68 days, so .544 lbs a day or 3.8 lbs per week. A little faster than planned but I don't always eat my daily quota or eat back my exercise calories. I eat if I am hungry and I have cals left unless it's after 8 pm.

I think there is a such thing as too much water, at least for me. I was crushing 10-14 cups a day and all I did was run to the bathroom, a lot. Made these this weekend. Used plain low fat greek yogurt, added a little vanilla extract and added in some blueberries. They were so delicious!
