  • Yes x 3, I was a slacker on exercise and did the minimum 20 minute dog walk. I was in a 5 hour meeting, and even though I was just sitting there, it sucked the life out of me. I weigh every morning, and log it in to the Weightgrapher.com site. It draws the trend for up to a year. Whenever I stop tracking and weighing, my…
  • Yes x 3 Running and rows on my lunch break. Baked potato stuffed with roasted broccoli, chili butter, parmesan, and prosciutto on top. But what I really want is @WhatMeRunning's steak with blue cheese butter.
  • Yes x 3 I schedule 3 snacks, because I can't make it through to a meal. It's pretty much that same. Baguette and butter, before lunch, dates before dinner, and yogurt and honey before bed. I switched out the dates for chocolate covered raisins this week. BIG MISTAKE. I can stop at 1-2 dates, but I lose it with the raisins,…
  • yes x 3t Learning to run on treadmill, after being a trail runner for the last year. It's strange, but not half bad.

  • Yes x 3 I have a hard time tracking. There are so many different ingredients in recipes, that it's a pain in the neck trying to figure out which % of ingredient is in each serving, and putting each ingredient in the tracker. However, it really works. When I don't track, I eat bigger servings, use more fats, eat more snacks…
  • Yes x 3 I love that we acknowledge the champions. Congratulations everyone! Friday was the end of a hard work week. I wanted to celebrate by having a pint and pizza. But if I go down that road, who knows when I'll make it back. So, I chatted on the phone with friends, make healthy food, made my UAC goals, and went to bed.…
  • yes x 3 walking for exercise
  • yes x 3 walked dog, then weights for workout I forgot to add to goals, no booze this month. I didn't drink all last month, so want to try for another month.
  • Congratulations to everyone in the winner's circle! Welcome to the newbies! And kudos to the people that showed up everyday. My goals: 1. I lost four pounds during last months challenge, and I'm thrilled. But I was tired, so I'm going to add some calories, and shoot for 2-3 pounds this month. 2. I like @Mrs_Hoffer's idea…
  • Yes x 3 Congratulations to everyone that is still here!
  • Planned pass day. I was saving it, so I could have fried shrimp and chowder after a walk.
  • Yes x 3 Got back into the gym after two weeks off, and then the usual dog walking
  • I have two pass days, so I'm heading for the winner's circle. :)

  • Pass #2 We're in heavy smoke from the fires, so I'm hunkered down at home. No exercise, and I ordered takeout for dinner. I worry about the people and animals that are close to the fires, and my heart aches.
  • @mshawski 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 hope he recovers soon. @jamcnewman Just what I needed to hear today, thanks for your post. Yes x 3.
  • Yes x 3 This thread got me out walking this morning. So an extra walk today
  • Yes x 3 How has your mindset changed because of your new healthy(ier) lifestyle, and knowledge that you've gained in your journey? This is just a few weeks in for me, so not a huge mindset change, but I'm working towards losing what @Mrs_Hoffer referred to as the "all or nothing mindset." I used to dive into new work out…
  • Yes x 3, hiking w dog and friend The food I can't have around is ice cream. It always start with, oh I'll just have a couple bites, oh, maybe a small dish, oh another bite, and so on until I'm sick in the stomach. So I just don't have it in the house. On the rare occasional that I have left over calories, I'll walk to the…
  • Yes x 3 I love reading all your posts, and appreciate the encouragement from the team. NSV is no wine this month. I feel better, and can eat more food ☺️.
  • To lose one pound a week, my allotment is 1300 calories a day + 1/2 exercise calories. Not much, but I'm 60. To do it, and not feel like I'm starving, I gave up wine, learned to drink coffee black, eat smaller slices of bread, smaller portions of rice. Before I quit the wine, I was so hungry because there weren't enough…

  • Happy Birthday 🎉 @RangerRickL ! Deliberate pass day for me. I planned to take it as a reward for sticking to the plan. I ate my usual healthy food all day, tracked, ran, lifted weights. Then I got a big hamburger and fries, a couple sliders for the dog, and we celebrated. I lost 2 lbs so far, and feel really good about it.…
