  • Good Day Everyone, Thank you @dawnbgethealthy for starting the round. And thank you to all the members for being here. My name is Anya, I'm 63, and I just saw this challenge so starting a bit late. I'm so happy to be able to join! I'm hoping to take off the last 5 pounds of my weight. My weight has been steadily creeping…
  • I've been doing 16:8 for a couple of months. Eating what I want during the 8 hour period, and losing approx 1/2 pound a week. It's simple. I've also done the calorie counting method, years ago, and got the same results, 1/2 pound loss per week. It was nice to be able to have a late snack, and breakfast. So for me, both…

  • For the last six weeks, I've stopped eating at 7pm. I used to snack right up to bedtime, loved to lay in bed, watch movies and eat. Then the next day eat, and snack all day. So stopping at 7pm has cut out a lot of calories for me without having to think about it. I make exceptions for nights out etc. But so far, this is…
  • The BP of 140/80, at one point in time isn't threatening. It takes multiple readings to establish hypertension. However, if your BP hangs out in that range, it is a red flag. I saw my doctor last week and was stressed. I work in hospice, and it's been crazy. I was so overworked, and taking calls from nurses up until the…

  • Enjoying the posts, great topic. Whenever I track, I lose weight, and every time I stop I gain. I get sick of tracking, and just want to eat, so I'll let it go, but I have a weight limit that I never let myself pass, so as soon as I get there, it's back to tracking. This has gone on for years, and I stay within a 15 pond…

  • I dropped out of UAC last week, but I'm looking forward to restarting October. I fell and fractured my foot, and with work stress, family stress and all, just don't have it in me to track, exercise and log. But UAC has helped me so much. I'm going to take a break, and get right back in. I wish everyone the best!
  • @jamcnewman I'm so happy for you. Singing in the choir just sounds like heaven. Yes x 3. NSV is not drinking alcohol for last month's challenge, and so far again this month.
  • @Mrs_Hoffer Thanks for the list! I was starting to flag a little and it really helped to see everyone in there together :) Yes x 3, short hike with dog for exercise on lunch break

  • @jamcnewman OMG! What a cute pup. That's a big baby. @bradcrew congrats on flying past that 50 lbs! Very inspiring. Yes x 3, running, deadlifts and balancing The hardest part for me is logging. I just hate it and resist it. It's boring, but I think the real reason is that I want to cheat and eat more :D . Logging keeps me…
  • @readyornot1234 I love your post, especially about managing reactions at the extreme ends of life. For me, I'm working on controlling my reactions over the petty things in life. I realize I've become much more sensitive, reactive over the last year. I think it's the loss of a lot of social support during COVID. When…
  • Thank you @jamcnewman <3
  • Planned pass day 1. Exercised, logged, but had planned pizza for dinner, 200 calories over. What works for me is setting a time in the future to clean up my diet, quit drinking, and lose weight. I had a death in the family this year, and I knew, I can't diet now. I let myself comfort eat, and I drank wine. And of course…
