I'll add you .... only recently got into running, but my commute was boring me on the bike, so decided to run in instead. I have loads of motivation I can share ... infact if anything I am a little too enthusiastic and require friends to tell me to ease off, rest more and eat more !

It could well be a form of shoulder impingement. Whats your mobility like, can you do an over head squat ? .... lift your arms directly above your head, do the funky chicken ??? if its similar to the impingement I had, the only way I solved it was to stop doing overhead lifts and for a while benchpressing with a barbell…

I can empathise with the OP ... I stopped heavy deadlifting due to hunger issues ..
