I started once but I got discouraged so I quit. But I've been working out and weight training for a little bit now and actually enjoying it. Monday will be my start day!

Congrats!

Thank you, great advice! We're getting a treadmill next week so I'll make sure to use my HRM for that and see how it goes with strength training.

I'm 5'0 and MFP says I should eat 1230 calories a day. It is tough but I find meal planning is helpful. Also, if I find that I'm craving something, I try to make sure I can fit it into my calories for the day so I don't go crazy. So I'll have a salad for lunch if I know I've been craving a cookie (just gotta make sure I…

Mixed greens with green peppers, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, cut up chicken breast and fresh mozzarella cheese. Little olive oil and balsamic vinegar...yum!

Happy birthday!

I love DDP yoga! He's funny and I find he's encouraging. His whole "It's your workout, make it your own" is great. It's definitely help me get moving.

Moved from Ontario, Canada to Missouri. I miss Tim Horton's not because they have good coffee, but I loved how they were open 24hours (I work shift work so sometimes coffee at 2am is needed). I also had a random craving for a Pillsbury pizza pocket the other day and couldn't find them in here....

Today I'm grateful for my big fluffy cat who loves to cuddle! I needed a hug today and it's ok if it came from the cat!

Are you comfortable in a bikini? If so, then go for it! For the record, if I saw you on the beach I definitely WOULD NOT think "OMG she should not be wearing that!" I'd just think you were another cute girl on the beach. Looking good, great job!

Today I was grateful that my Halloween hangover finally went away, grateful that I splurged and went a little crazy on Halloween, and happy that I worked out today and got right back on track.

You ladies all look amazing! I'm 5'0 and you've all definitely inspired me to push myself to hit my goals. Congrats to those who have hit their goals and keep going those who are still moving forward!

I love this! Today I'm grateful for the boost my husband gave me. Those words of encouragement helped me to keep moving and motivated me to make smart decisions.
-
Congrats! You've been working hard and dedicated. I love how you've been mixing up your exercise routine. Hope you can get where you want to be and keep working it!

Do you have certain thing in life that are going on and causing you to eat based on your emotions? If you can, try and remove stress from your life or maybe replace the emotional eating with another hobby in order to relax. You said you liked to run...when the emotional hunger hits, go for a run! Or make sure you have…

Staying on track because I want to feel gorgeous on my honeymoon with my husband. He loves me no matter what but I want to feel confident!
-
That's awesome! Congrats and kick that last 30lbs in the butt!

You get a fresh start every time you decide to wake up and try. So don't stress too much about it. Life happens and you have a bad day/week/month/year! But when you decide to try then at least you're making progress to get back on track. I screw up all the time!!!

Whole grain toast and some peanut butter. Coffee with cream and sugar. It was an uninteresting morning :p

I use it to make mac & cheese. There's recipes online, I just tweak them a little to lose some calories. So good.

I've done it. Once I went for an hour long walk/jog then got home and realized I had forgotten to put my Fitbit on to track. I was having a bad day and that small little moment set me off. I felt like my whole hour was lost because I didn't track it. Dramatic but like I said, I was cranky and just wanted to throw something.

1. Be able to confidently wear a bikini on my honeymoon in April 2. To not feel like "the fat one" when I'm with my girlfriends 3. To fit into standard bra sizes! (I already have big boobs and when I gain too much weight they go above a DD which makes bra shopping a pain in the *kitten*!)

Turbo Jam huh? Looking into that asap. Thanks!
-
I download them anyway so "free" isn't an issue.

Those syrups are great! You don't need that much either, unless you're having a bowl of coffee rather than a cup. But I usually save my bowls of coffee for Monday mornings haha.

Ha, great come back. I'd want to say something similar, make sure he knows that kind of attitude isn't going to work AT ALL.

Hey! I'm 25 and looking to lose 15-20lbs. I'm also very inconsistent, so maybe two wrongs can make a right and we can encourage each other! I'll add you :)
