Haha...I guess I'm weird. I log my entire week ahead on Sunday.

I can't think in oz...I learned the metric system in school, so I'm used to having everything in grams/kilograms/litres/millilitres. When I have to log something in oz I always have to google first how many grams that is...

Uh... I'm 5'2 and I LOSE on 1200. I maintain on 1650 if I'm sedentary, and on 1800 if I'm active.

Again? Really? Must be Let's-kill-sugar-Saturday.

1400 calories p/day. Protein gets hit first, truthfully I don't care about the rest. But they do get hit anyway without me trying. Except my carbs and sodium. I'm ALWAYS under on them. (Not intentionally)

I eat anything. But I usually only finish half, box up the other half and eat it for another meal.

Raspberries, greek yoghurt. And ostrich meat. It's actually eaten in my country... but not available in my province because we don't have ostrich farms here.
-
Also if you want to log something like cake batter...I usually search for it in the database and take the one with the most calories. It might be less, but it's good to have some cushioning in case.

Totally, life isn't good if you don't lick the spoon. Depending on the spoon size, I log half a spoon of whatever it is.

That's true.

Many here say Eat everything in moderation. I too believe in that and it includes packaged food. However, I think a good reason for cutting something out, is only if you have no self control around it and it constantly hurts your progress. Personally I see no problem with having a little treat after one has met all their…

You need do decide what's more important to you. Losing the weight or eating more and gaining. You need to make a decision. And then be disciplined enough to follow through on the decision.

Brushing my teeth helps for me. Chewing gum. And constantly sipping on water.

Actually calories are units of measurement. Therefore they are all equal. A centimetre is no different from another centimetre. Same with calories. However, NUTRITION in food is different.

Anything (sugar included) will not be stored as fat while in deficit. You cannot gain something and lose it at the same time. That's like saying a cup is filled with water but it's empty at the same time.

Exercise is the most under-used anti-depressant. Crank up some good music...hit the gym, and pretend you're hitting him in the face with a barbell... Besides, whatever he did wrong...if he did that...he's not worth having you. And there are plenty more that will trip over their feet to get their hands on you.…

I've been without sweets for 10 days. Also trying to break the habit of eating so much. I know your struggle. Mine goes like this: Brain A: I'm craving a candybar... Brain B: Let's go get some! Drives to the store...stands in front of the candybar... Brain A: you know...it doesn't actually look as good as I thought it…

My stomach and my thighs.

Stop buying it.

5'4 and 1200 a day or less? I'm 5'2 and eating 1400 a day and losing 1lb a week. That's not even TDEE. My TDEE suggests I eat 1300-1600 depending on activity to lose 1lb a week. And I'm smaller than you. I doubt 1200 is enough for you.

I agree with the above posters. Try drinking some more water (ice or cold is best) and make sure you get enough fresh air where you work. Try to get up and take a walk around the office while you work if that's possible. To me it sounds like sick-building syndrome. Especially if you're fine over the weekends and this just…

I actually do get up in the middle of the night. Usually once but sometimes up to 4 times. ;)

It's the same for me. I stopped buying sweets and I don't keep it in the house. I also sip on water ALL THE TIME.

And apples. Geez I friggen hated apples with every fibre of my being. In fact that was the only fruit I didn't eat. Now I like them with peanut butter.

Salted nuts and raisins.

I believe in that approach, drinking only when thirsty. Although I drink way more than the "recommended" 8 Glasses a day. But not because I'm thirsty. It keeps my mouth busy and keeps me from mindlessly eating. The only time I don't drink water is when I sleep. Which is probably why my pee is all stinky in the…

Sounds like my mother trying to convince me that fruit is bad for me because it's all sugar. Ignorance is bliss they say.

Sounds yummy. :yum:

I doubt it. If I do I slowly gain. Currently I just log once a week. It's easy because I eat the same breakfasts and dinners weekly. That's what works for me. A combination of part-time logging and eating roughly the same stuff.
