Hey I had my gallbladder out a few years ago. I wasn't overweight or anything and was not middle aged as is most common, so it took them a while to believe it was gallstones, but they did in the end and snipped it out! Eggs and cheese were the worst for me so avoid them. However have you heard about non surgery methods? I…

I'm quite new to this but my goals are: For my partner to notice something has changed when he sees me in 2 months To be able to go shopping and want to buy something because I feel like I look good in it in the mirror :)

bump :) inspiration!

oh maybe. :/ that probably makes sense actually! I'm still not sure how to actually get a body fat reading though. I have to tap it for it to come on, then it shows that screen so i can weigh myself. but no idea how to do the %!

I would love to join in :)

I've heard that making sure you're hydrated, and are having enough protein can help. But I haven't been doing it long enough to be an expert :) I'm sure there are other people here that have tips. The first PT session I had I was in so much pain for days, but since then even though weights have been getting bigger, I…

Oh OK great thank you :) I will read them. Thyroid idea was something that used to just niggle at me, but then I figured if I get up and do more exercise (6 days a week now) and eat more regularly but healthy then I'll probably see some results - and if I don't then i'll think harder about why this could be, but I really…

That's really interesting. I thought for a while I might have a thyroid problem as I had to have my gallbladder taken out (even though I wasn't overweight) and there's a link between them. And I have random symptoms like putting on weight even when not eating a great deal (i know, I'm sure everyone says this) and hard to…

Awesome thanks guys!! I can get almost as much protein from a shake with milk and natural peanut butter (Meridian has no palm oil!!) as I would from a protein shake. And also I can never finish the protein shake because I think it's so horrible. So good to know you all think it's pretty alright! I just kept getting told to…

I don't know a huge amount about it, but have been told not to have too much by Personal Trainers, and have read in other training books that they don't think it's good for you? Just starting thinking about why when I started making these shakes because they taste so much nicer and more natural. I know some people are…

Awesome! You look much sleeker, goes to show that the scales shouldn't be what you monitor by :) . Do you find it hard to be critical of your own photos and tell yourself whether you have made a difference?

Haha then yes I am going to go as ham as possible!! I'll be sensible though thank you :) . I know I hope he notices :p we will have to wait and see. Either way it will be a change for the better, even if it takes a bit longer to start working than I am hoping. Eurgh I have taken a before photo, not enjoying it but I know I…

Thanks! Maybe I don't really know what eating clean means I don't know, but before my diet was so crap that I feel like any changes I have made are pretty clean. I'm trying to eat protein and vegetables and things. Thanks for the reply - I hope it is noticeable. Even if it's just a bit less of a jiggle!
-
Thanks!! That sounds great! I don't know what ham means but yeah I'm going to try and do it 5/6 times a week following this book. I think some of the days are HIIT cardio though to mix things up a bit. I'm very determined and can't stop thinking about it so fingers crossed! I am actually having trouble getting my mind off…

that's awesome :) what kind of results did you see?
-
Anyone else got any results from this kind of thing? :)

Thanks guys! That's helpful SezxyStef. I'm about 151 now and 5'5. I'm interested to know how much difference I can make so I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully it'll be noticeable at least. I do want to eat clean as it means it's easier to eat more and regularly. Before I would just eat rubbish and not very often and I…

Oh I will continue after 2 months, but I want to surprise him so would be good to know what others have managed in this time :)
