  • My best friend could bench press me (and heavier things) and she's never had trouble getting a date.
  • I too am a pc gamer. It was during the great red ring of death fiasco that I stopped being a filthy console peasant. ;)
  • I'm breastfeeding my almost 4 month old. I've got about 9 pounds to go. I'm one of the "Lucky" moms who gain in the 50 pound range when pregnant. My goal is to lose 5 pounds in February and March. I already lost more than 5 pounds this month and I'm trying to do it at a slightly slower pace so I still feel good. (I got a…
  • I have about 9 pounds to go. I feel so much lighter on my feet at my goal weight. I look forward to being able to jump around without the extra heft. I look forward to running without as much difficulty. Every pound makes a big difference with running.
  • I would say aim for the 1200 calorie goal and pop a multivitamin on days you have trouble meeting that goal. You are my height. When I'm not breastfeeding I need about 1750 calories to maintain my weight at about 120 pounds. I'm not sure why you want to go lower than 120 since that is pretty slim. But as long as you stay…
  • I don't usually count calories and I can lose weight without counting. But I did come here because I like the community. I plan to start counting calories just so I lose at a healthy rate. I don't need to lose 3 or more pounds a week.
  • I am. My baby is 3 1/2 months old.
  • It's probably not a smart thing to attempt. If you don't care about it only being water weight you could do a juice fast or something. But you will gain it right back if you don't change your eating habbits. It is much better to have a lifestyle change than a quick fix.
  • I would love to help 1 or 2 people. I'm a stay at home mom of 2 children. I've got a 2 year old and a 3 month old. My specialty is putting on pregnancy weight (and losing it again). When I'm not gestating I like to challange myself with my workouts. I'm 10 pounds away from my goal weight. (gained 48 pounds during my last…
  • My plan was to do 40 minutes on the elliptical today. I did 1 hour and 10 minutes total.
  • Thanks everyone! I just wanted to share how even when you aren't motivated but do it anyway that you feel so much better!
  • I gain around 50 pounds in pregnancy. I'm in the process of losing the weight now. I'm also fully breastfeeding to. For the first 1 or 3 months after baby I take it easy. I try to make good choices and get in simple activity. This last week I started a more intense exercise routine and started cutting back a little more on…
  • I had a baby October 1st. I gained close to 50 pounds. I've got 15 pounds to lose. I've had a weight loss stall during christmas till now. But I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. This is my second baby. It seems to be taking a little longer for the weight to shed. But in all honesty, I'm not doing as much…
  • I do plan on weaning myself off it eventually. I get headaches when I don't drink it now. (From lack of sleep) I'm thinking if I slowly switch to black tea I'll feel better. I'm just not getting much sleep having an 8 week old baby and a 2 year old.
  • I'll try that. Usually I don't eat a diet very high in fats. But that's not on purpose. I simply don't like a lot of fatty foods. My skin has been kind of dry though so maybe some fats will help with that too.
  • I have been tired a lot. I've got a new little baby and a toddler. So that's probably it. I've never had insulin resistance, but I deal with hypoglycemia. But a high protien diet usually takes care of that.
  • Well, I don't have BED. But I hope that you find good support! I know my experience is probably trivial compared to yours. But I want to say that you are not the only one who loses self control around food. I can't buy sweets and have them in the house for more than 2 days. I will eat them all. I will eat the entire box of…
  • Part of me is irritated that I'm craving sweets. I grew up having way too much junk food. And although I was never heavy, I wasn't healthy. I have tried many times to only have 1 treat. But it just doesn't happen. Normally I am not very heavy either. (I just pack on the pregnancy pounds) So I could eat bags of candy and…
  • What works for some doesn't work for others. It doesn't work for me to have sweets in the house. And my coffee really does seem more like a treat to me. I don't drink it black. I drink it with a super sweet creamer. I would love to be able to have sweets in the house and be ok. But I've never been able to stop myself from…
  • Hormonal birth control makes me crazy hungry ALL THE TIME. I gain weight like I'm pregnant if I use anything hormonal. And I am a big gainer during pregnancy.
  • I would. But my coffee is already a treat. And I can't be trusted with a bag of candy. It is gone in litterally 2 days. I don't buy candy most of the time because I have no self control. I have to assert self control while I shop.
  • My entire wardrobe. I gain weight while pregnant. I tried not to gain a ton but I still gained 48 pounds this time. (Down by 20 since delivery). I would love to fit into something that isn't a big baggy t-shirt and pajama pants.
  • Well, since my scale broke... Not being able to weigh in drives me nuts though!
  • I need to lose 20 to 25 pounds and I'm also breastfeeding. It's nice knowing that there are others with similar goals!
  • The truth is that I'm not sure much would affect my milk supply. Last time I had oversupply the whole time despite block feeding for months. I figure that if anything did affect my milk production then I can change things around. I forget to eat regularly and did last time. Mostly I just want to remember to eat as much as…
