Trying to lose the baby weight while breastfeeding.

I have been here quite a while, but recently started keeping track again. I lowered my calories to maintenance and lost 2 lb, but also dropped my supply (I pump), so I slowed down a bit. I am looking for some friends with similar goals to keep me motivated. I just joined a group to lose 25 lb by April, so hope that helps. I will try to stick to this community rather than the baby-based ones I've been on for the past 16ish months!

    I need to lose 20 to 25 pounds and I'm also breastfeeding. It's nice knowing that there are others with similar goals!

    I am also bf. My LO is 16 months though. I think your calorie deficit should take baby's age and need for breast milk into consideration. My LO eats three meals a day and snacks so, bf is more for comfort and therefore I am not too concerned about supply (the body will naturally provide what is needed, regardless - and providing I am not starving...which I am not).

    I am ready to shift the "baby weight" once and for all. My last twenty lbs are not baby weight though...its cake and other junk I have eaten for almost two years!
