I'm not loving it a lot right now. I've run Season 4, Mission 1 twice and both times when I stopped the run at the end, the app crashed. No run log. No credit for finishing the mission. No synch. Nothing. So I ran a 5k race mission and the same thing happened. Love the app, but that bug is killing me.

It's definitely a virtual trip on a map. I'd love to do some of these in real life but can't spare the year off work.

Lol. Yep and already started a new one.

I'm from Mangham, Louisiana. I'm a newspaper editor and I'm trying to get from 250 pounds down to whatever I decide looks right for 6'2". I'll know it when I see it.

There are all kinds of yoga stretches you can do to keep from stiffening up at work. Do a search for "office yoga" or "desk yoga" and you mayl get some ideas.

Well, I figured out my new mission. I'm going to retrace the Templar's path from France to Jerusalem during the crusades. Anyone who chalks up miles is welcome to join.

There could be something to that. I've been doing this so long and I loved seeing that long line on the map. It's going to suck to start over again and see that start flag a tenth of an inch away from my progress marker.

A pound a week is pretty good. It's actually the recommended rate. You might want to try a weight charting app like Libra if you're feeling let down by it. It's based on the Hacker's Diet model and weights each weigh in and gives you an idea of the average calorie deficit a day that you're maintaining to hit that point.…

I was going to try for 300 miles in May but I'll try 500. I'd like to work up to 25 miles a day just to say I could ride to work and back if there were a safe path devoid of log trucks, tractors and 18-wheelers.

Normally 10, but for a 99-year-old, 11.

The part about the boxers bothered me. It seemed to just not fit well with the other parts. Although the part about the murders read like a collection of autopsy reports in parts. I've never read Roxane. It always sounded like a more mannerly version of De Sade's Justine with the theme that life is hard, and harder if…

If I lose 50 pounds, I can drink 25 ounces less water per day and then I won't have to pee as much.

I would prefer that. I have to send my wife in to get my oil changed because when I go, they look at me funny and say, "We could just sell you the oil and you could change it yourself. It's a lot cheaper."

Sure.

I assume that I'm underestimating my food and overestimating my workouts. For example, my bike tells me I'm doing 150 calories for a 40-minute rides with a heart rate in the 150s. MFP tells me it's 600. I put in the 150. I keep up with my calories during the day, but I assume I missed a candy bar or a handful of chips or…

I'd get a manicure and put together an outfit by experimenting with texture and color in ways that men just are not allowed to do. Then, once I was looking my best, I've have some guys over to change the oil in my truck and move some furniture for me before I left to spend the evening at a lesbian bar.

Barwick Green because I'm listening to Friday's episode of The Archers, before that, El Artista del Alambre by Amaral.

Chocolate. It's hard to find a wine that pairs well with chocolate.

Mangham ... about half an hour south of Monroe.

I'm in. I've been on MFP forever off and on but I've just used it for tracking. It might be fun to try it with some other people to make me work harder.

I love Zombies, Run! I started out using it to get me walking and have really enjoyed it up through season 3. But I like podcasts and things like The Archers and Welcome to Nightvale. So for me, it's a way to slip into an alternate reality while I do my morning workout. I'm looking forward to Season 4 starting soon on…

I just finished 2666 by Roberto Bolaño and honestly, I need a break. It was brutal two months. So I read Vengeance of the Demon (the latest in Diana Rowland's Kara Gillian series) last week and started Skinwalker (the first book in Faith Hunter's Jane Yellowrock series) this week. Like I said, 2666 is a brutal read, almost…
