I'm 5'5", 42 years old and have a desk job. I entered in I want to lose 2 pounds a week and sedentary. I'm currently 272 pounds and it gives me 1390 calories a day. I don't know what your settings are but by following what it says and eating about half my exercise calories back I'm losing between 2 and 2 1/2 pounds a week…

If there are several choices I pick the highest one, log it, and then usually only eat half of it. I feed the leftovers to my boyfriend. I figure if I overestimate 500 calories for that plate of pad thai it's not going to hurt me, vs under estimating. I try to only eat out on days I have put in lots of cardio (swimming and…

I'm right there with you. Dr visit on October 10th said 304 pounds. I nearly croaked. I started with MFP that Monday and haven't looked back. I'm down 14 pounds. I've started walking daily, swimming, and bought a bicycle. Looking for friends for motivation.

I could never cut chocolate out of my life. I eat 16 bittersweet Ghirardelli's chocolate chips nearly every night. It's 80 calories, and I slowly let each one melt in my mouth and purposely savor it. I find it much more satisfying than it was when I wolfed down larger quantities of cheaper chocolate.

I do this too, but I thin it out a little with lemon juice and sometimes and an herb mix from the local spice shop. Yesterday's was French onion dip with a shallot and dill herb mix. 2 tbsp was 35 calories.

Ok, I think l'll exercise more to earn extra calories, ration my calories through the rest of the day and perhaps eat up to maintenence if needed. I'm talking maybe once or twice a month. Of course I'll continue to track calories as much as possible. (hard to be exact with food trucks and local non-chain restaurants.)…

If you are eating less food during the day you will probably get buzzed quicker. You may find that now that you are eating fewer calories it may take less wine to get that buzz you are going for.
