Making some foods off limits. I used to tell myself that I could only eat healthy foods, like chicken breast and broccoli. I agree with removing the temptation from the house. I cannot bring tortilla chips or crackers into the house. They're too easy to grab impusively. I make a large pot of veggie soup and eat as much as I want. It’s tasty and really fills me up. I’ve saved a generic version of the soup as a meal here, so it’s easy to log. If I add pasta or chicken or whatever, I just log those separately. Sometimes I just want a lot of volume

I have diabetes, and I have guidance from a dietician on how many carbs to eat for every meal and snack. So I basically just look at my carbs as I log them and try to stay around the number that was set for me.

I sent them a message about it. Since the issue is on my Iphone and the web, plus Garmin and Android, it sounds like a My Fitness Pal issue. I hope they address the problem!

Is there a pool at your gym or one you can use/ join somewhere else? I do water aerobics, and it is so fun. I have a bad knee but it is no problem in the water. I also like to just walk in the water. Being in the water can be a good workout, and great for people who have trouble on land.

I don't count veggies. When I do, they don't add up to much. Other than starchy vegetables like peas, corn, or potatoes. But i do count fruit because I'm watching my carbs, and it's easy to get in a lot of carbs if you eat a lot of fruit.
