Thank you VERY much, everyone. I appreciate your input!! :)

I did day 8 on level 1 today. Excited to start level 2 next week.

I started running when I was about 29 or 30. Not late in life, but not in high school either. I was inspired because I went to a marathon and watched my aunt (a lifelong runner) cross the finish line. She looked positively exhausted and elated. I WANTED to know what that felt like, so I began running. That was all it took.…

This is good to know. I want to do RI30 after I'm done with 30DS (in early December). I'm always looking for people like you who have done both. So, thanks for the info! Have you started something else now that you're done with both of those?

Awesome! Go, girl!!

I completed day 7 this morning. I think it was slightly easier than it has been, so that's good. I'm going to finish out the 10 days, then rest on Tuesday, and start level 2 on Wednesday. Keep it up, guys! :)

I am starting to hate this thread. That picture. OMG.

I did day 6 today. Excited to start the next level next week!

I'm planning on having some tonight. I just look online, including the MFP database, for similar recipe calories and then average them. I think it's impossible to find the actual calorie count, jmo.

I get up at 4:00AM as well. I have a 3 year old and a 1.5 year old who need my undivided attention, so this is the only time I have to myself. I don't regret it. As tired as I always am when that alarm sounds, I'm always glad I did it. Every time. And when my kids wake up, I'm ready to give them whatever attention they…

Did you all do your 30DS yet today? I get up at 4:00AM every day to do my workout. I have 2 small kids (ages 3 and 1.5), so that's the only time I have to myself. It's hard, but worth it.

I will be starting RI30 after I finish 30DS too... As of now, I'm scheduled to start RI30 on Nov. 30th. I'm excited.

Welcome! I'm addicted to this place. Any time I have a question, or can offer an answer on someone else's question, I get a little giddy. :)

Wow, what an inspiration! You were handsome to begin with, glad to see you enhancing things a little.

This.

If I only got 3 hours of sleep, I would allow myself to skip it (if it only happened once in a while). Otherwise, I just constantly remind myself why I'm doing it. My kids, my husband, and that skinny girl who thinks my husband it cute is about all I need. ;)

Me too!! I can do about 5 regular push ups, but then I have to do the modified ones.

I started this last Saturday, the 8th. I'm going to friend some of you guys for motivation and accountability!

Thank you!! So much useful information, thank you all. ;)

Yes that helps. Thank you!

I use 8 pound weights because that's what I have at home... however, they are too heavy to complete the repetitions so I would recommend something lighter. As for your 2nd question, I just started the program so I'm not seeing my results yet. ;)

Just my 2 cents, but no, I don't think the loose skin gets taut again. Curious to see what others say....

Wow!! That's wonderful! Congratulations!!!

Oh, mama! Look at those beautiful tiger stripes! :) My honest response is, "rock those things!" But I understand having babies (I've had two of my own) and wanting your body to go back to something it was before. I waited until I got the go-ahead from my doctor before I started exercising. And then, of course, I took it…

Bump. How is everyone still doing with this? I'm going to start it, probably on Monday. Nervous and excited!

These are all excellent ideas. Thank you all!! Just for the record, I tried the Quaker apple & cinnamon ones today, and they reminded me of Golden Crisp cereal! Very yummy!

I am a teacher. Generally, we aim for *approximately* 10 minutes per night, per grade level. It's not a rule, just a general guideline. So, kinder and 1st would get about 10 -20 minutes of homework. 2nd grade would get about 20 minutes. 3rd grade, about 30 minutes, etc. This doesn't include the reading (most teachers…

Yippeeee!!!! Keep it up!

I went to the store just now and bought 2 kinds. I got the Quaker rice cakes (apple cinnamon flavor), and the small rice crisps (caramel flavor). Oh man, they are both MUCH yummier than I expected! Thank you all for your helpful input.
