You should try increasing your daily calories to 1500 for a week and see if you can lose any weight on that, and if not, maybe try lowering it to 1400 cals a week. I try to stay between 1200-1400 daily and I have been losing weight doing this. Also, make sure you're getting enough protein in your diet! This will keep you…

Wow! I'm getting a lot of ideas here! Love the idea of rice cakes with avocado on top! And I only say mine was weird because my boyfriend would think that I'm nuts if I made that for dinner for both of us. LOL

I think there are a lot of soups out there that are "reduced sodium". Maybe you can keep a eye out for those. :) I feel ya, I love soup and salty things, too.

And also make sure to eat a lot of protein bc it'll fill you up and not make you so hungry. I get mine from greek yogurt, eggs, lean meat, lentils, etc...

It makes me feel great when I log ALL my calories for the day and it tells me how much I'll weigh in 5 weeks. Really puts things into perspective for me. :)

Make sure you're eating enough protein during the day. It really helps me feel content late at night.

Add me if you'd like. Also, with your dislike for gyms, what do you do to workout? Ever tried workouts from Youtube? That's what I'm doing at home and it's better than the gym ever was for me.

Try to eat back your calories. Imagine if you burned 400 cals during your workout.. your 1200 a day calorie intake would go down to 800 calories. Do you think this is enough energy to fuel your body? Definitely not! : )

Hi, everybody. I'm 5'9 and am trying to get to my "happy weight" which is about 155. Right now I feel stuck at 169 and it's so frustrating. : ( I started losing weight at 183 in October 2014.

I've been doing yoga at home and in classes on and off for about a decade. I loooove yinyasa (flow) yoga. Somebody else mentioned it already, but Yoga With Adriene on Youtube is absolutely fabulous. She is such a great and funny instructor. Highly recommended.
