Just drop weight untill you get around 10% body fat, unless you want to get absolutely shredded

What I do is make sure I get 1g of protein per lb of body weight, then fill 30% of my calories with fats then the rest with carbs. However you can adjust carbs and fats depending on personal preference, just make sure fats take up atleast 20% of your total calorie intake for the day

Try doing some yoga style stretching targeting the hip flexors, hopefully it will start to feel better

If you eat in a calorie deficit you will lose weight, try focus on counting calories rather than eating healthier
