My biggest pet peeves about this is "individual packets" of nuts(2.5 1 oz servings), ice cream bars that are two servings and foods that use something like ml for a food which is most certainly not consumed by the general populace as a liquid(Ice cream being measured in ml is just nuts).

I like almond butter on occasion, Justins brand has individual pouches that aren't too bad price wise and then you don't have a jar just begging to be consumed.
-
I'd say it can't be super duper bad, just stretch and make sure your shoes are in good shape.

I'm keto and count net carbs, always have. But I'm young, not a ton going on metabolically like some here and generally don't get a ton of fiber anyway(unless it's a salad heavy week).

This works for me, I sometimes add a dash of salt and a dash of salt substitute (potassium chloride) to black coffee if I don't want cream. A little carmel sugar free toranis with it is also lovely.

I bought a size small top, a couple size medium shorts and a pair of small shorts yesterday. They all fit! I've literally never been a size small shirt or medium bottom in adult clothes. My junior high black jeans also started needing a belt this weekend.

I've been doing lchf for a few months now, I'm almost never hungry. Seriously, it's normal and awesome and it is so so helpful. Track your calories, if you're constantly below 800 ish then you need to be conscious of that. But if your weekly average looks pretty close to your daily goal then I wouldn't sweat it.

Google almond flour pancakes. Not very very fluffy, but good.

Maybe I'm one among a weird young adult group  But guys that age tend to be aware of the girls/guys going through puberty and want to look good so they feel that they "measure up" to the "most datable" girls/guys in school. At least this is what my guy friends went through at that age and through high school. Just…

Is he interested in biology? I started counting calories at that age, but I'm a girl. If he's interested in science you might be able to frame it arOund that, how different foods effect the body and such. My mom also involved me in the cooking process which got me interested and made me more aware. You might also mention…

How easy is it to say *don't renew my subscription*?

I'd do some research into metabolic syndromes before I went, and ask if there's any sort of test that the doc would be willing to perform to rule those out. A sad word of advice though. Some people are just more efficient than others. My mom and I for example have to eat at a rather extreme deficit to lose weight, despite…

Swimming for long periods, just floating, will suck enough water out of me to be dehydrated.

When I was little (birth to probably 8) our food was good stuff. Meats, veggies, salads, potatoes in moderation, or rice, or bread. I did have sandwiches for lunch, but always with a fruit and 2% minimum milk. But when my grandparents got sick all hell broke loose. Mom didn't have time to cook, and I started watching tv in…

Never have, doubt I ever will. I'm too cheap and just keeps my carbs low.

Keto Finder, not very complete but good enough. And it's an app that only lists keto friendly foods.

I have an old analog one, originally bought to weigh kittens I think. I'll probably buy a nicer digital one soon. I consider it an essential, but I'm a weird girl. I'll eat 14 grams of salami and think it was 28!

Might I suggest new friends? I'm 19, so don't think I'm some old fogey. You don't need to be out drinking every weekend and eating all kinds of crap. You act like this behavior is normal and part of successful people's lives on a weekly basis. If you're going to do it don't do it nearly that often. Have new years as a…

I get a few a month. I usually eat to satiety even on those days, they help up for my horribly low cals on other days.

Coffee hwc coconut oil salami low carb bread butter beef lunch meats mayo lettuce bacon Coconut shreds tea pork rinds Cream cheese Strawberries grapes mango sucralose sugar free almond butter crunch from winco Carb balance tortillas That makes me look like a picky eater. I need to make some time to be in the kitchen!

Any ideas on what to sub for the hemp ? Coconut shreds maybe? I can't find it in my neck of the woods for less than 25 bucks.
-
Hmm. I like it, but I'm not a huge fan of "vegetable oil" being used as a major fat source. Coconut oil is technically a veggie oil, but it's not like that refined processed stuff in the rectangular bottle.

It takes me about 10 pounds, for jeans. For dress pants/exercise pants it's more like 15-20. & I'm still wearing the pants that I wore 26 pounds ago because I'm too cheap and I hate shopping. They're cooler loose anyway and it's hot here.

I know really high salt intake can cause vomiting in some people. Don't know about the diarrhea though.

When you know that you have a very valid reason to cheat(according to everyone around you at least), and you just don't feel like it.

Yes, I was on the pill at the time, so definitely that one. I don't know about less effective, but I'd be extra vigilant for signs of ovulation if I were to quit dairy. I was also told that while on depo I borderline had to eat dairy, both for the calcium and for some kind of regulation of the time release mechanism. Could…

I cut out dairy awhile back(was cico at the time) and cutting it our made my hormones worse! Doctor said that bc is designed to work in people who eat dairy and so the levels can get skewed when you don't. food for thought

Depression after a breakup and 3 huge losses in the family. I ate because it was the only thing that was comforting, still is. I just sleep instead.
