It is awesome, and it mixes well with butter. Also espresso powder/dark coffee and some more goats milk to make a nice drinkable yogurt.

OMG you look amazing! So much difference, I'd have guessed over 90 lbs.

I make my own full fat yogurt, from goats milk, about 6 carbs per cup and super simple. How do you cook liver? I've only ever boiled chicken livers for the dogs food, and that doesn't look at all appetizing.

The idea is just higher levels of nutrients plus probiotics to help in digestion. In working theory I need more of things like antioxidants, vitamins, etc because of my dysautonomia(body doesn't absorb them well/higher levels, like high normal have been shown to be beneficial). This is supposed to help with fatigue,…

My cardiologist just recommended epsom salt baths, with a couple oils added in, to soothe the nervous system. No idea if it works, but it could be more relaxing than we think for our bodies. Also, magnesium is absorbed in decent quantities this way, as long as you use "plenty" of epsom salts, and soak for "a long while".…

I wish I had one from when I started. I avoided cameras like the plague.

I think it should be each persons choice, sugar free or sweetener free. That way people can decide how strict they want to be, or run it as an intermediate/advanced challenge. You could also have a no added sugar beginner level. I personally don't pay nearly as much care to the sugar in dairy as I do to the sugar in…

I'm going to guess hormones. If you weren't eating enough consistently, if you added exercise(even a slight-moderate increase in overall activity), if you added carbs(even from fiber), it can effect your hormonal cycles and levels enough to throw you into a bit of a rut. 3 weeks of nada and then a .4 lbs drop isn't all…

This looks excellent! And should reheat well. Thank you everyone for your suggestions!

Like goat said, don't worry about eggs. Veggies in my house are steamed, covered in butter, and eaten like candy.

Maybe it factors in the calories burned dealing with kids? :P

I watch what and how much I eat, I try to eat only whole foods, so no processed or refined things anymore.
-
I think a good deal of the simpler starches are probably cooked/processed out. Black beans always tasted a bit sweet to me, even pre lchf, but this didn't taste like much of anything.

Alright, I got this off of amazon. It's pretty darn good. Cooks up fast, on the soft side of aldenti, delicious with butter salt and pepper. 56 g, dry, produces a very respectable amount, enough to be called a small meal, definitely a large side.

If you have access to a junior college, or state college/university they usually have access to some of the best health journals via the library. You can even ask a librarian to help you, they won't care that your not a student in most cases.

I love it and will return to it once I go back to school and convince my dad we need to move the toaster so I can have my blender back. Evil toaster taking up valuable space >:) It keeps me full for somewhere between 4-12 hours, depending on how busy I am and if I had carbs with it. I like the taste of butter more than…

I've had it once. It was nasty, horrid stuff. But no adverse side effects, maybe because I only had a bite. Bleh.

I have small amounts of honey now and then. It doesn't seem to do anything to me, but most of the time it's not worth the carbs to me.

Or the one's that have a sample size of less than 500 and a testing period of less than a year...

This has also caused a depletion of copper, selenium, zinc, and many other minerals.

I think this is probably the biggest criticism. CICO at it's true use, someone with no underlying medical conditions, who is fairly average, will lose weight if they eat less than they burn and those numbers would be around what we would expect from the formulas. Low carb is not for everyone, the way person A processes…

Sewing machine. Darts, lots of them. Oh, most of the honeys can sew, I have a few friends ;)

I eat them. I wish i could avoid them, but it's just not practical for me to meal prep each week and be in college. Bars and shakes can live in my backpack for aWhile without going bad.

My goal is within my healthy BMI range because of my insurance premiums/doctors. It's at the high end though.

Pretty sure that is for whatever equals a third cup of sugar for you.

Please do share how the salmon patties work out. I have some (canned) salmon that needs to get used.

They aren't necessary. But I enjoy them, they don't have any bad effects on me(the low carb ones I mean), and make a great carrier for cheese and butter.

In my experience people fall into what is right for them after they start. My protein is often "too high" and my fat "too low", but it's what works for me, I'm one who can use protein very well.

This saddens me. I'm fluent in both because I'm a science major. I think we could do both if we tried.

Eww. It's resurfaced. Complete junk study, too small and too short.
