  • I retain water about a day before it comes, but how much is highly variable. Anytime I jump up more than half a pound without another reason I get suspicious. I'm on depo, so my periods are slowly disappearing and that jump is my best warning.
  • I haven't seen it as a premium option. I really wish the US would do carbs like everyone else, and use the same measurements too.
  • I have noticed them being firmer toward the base but not lumpy and more itchy. I have always had looooots of breast tissue as opposed to fat in that area though.
  • I'm down .5 pounds Started at 137.9 lbs Week 2: 137.7 lbs Week 3: 137.7 Lost so far: .7 pounds. 6.2 pounds to go by holloween for a goal of 130.
  • Ah yes, the great shopping binge. I'm probably going to stick to leggings and tunics this fall, I have 7 more pounds till my ultimate goal and that can mean the world in jeans. So not quite
  • I'd do a slow cooker roast. Just some chicken broth, some seasoning(I like garlic salt and pepper), a few onion slices in the bottom of the slow cooker for flavor, and a roast. You could also do stew in the oven, or posole without hominy. Those both are best when reheated.
  • I've gone down 2 sizes in jeans. From a tight ten to a loose 8 or and an almost loose 6, but still too snug 4.
  • I stay at 35 net, and am solidly in ketosis. I started at 20 total, then 20 net, then 25 net etc. I occasionally go up to 50 net and don't kick myself out.
  • So thats what that is. Hate it.
  • I want that now O.O I have great success with net carbs, and I have a thing for aldenti pasta. Is it cooked up like regular spaghetti?
  • Starvation mode is most definitely not a myth in it's entirety. BUT it's a complete myth that you will gain weight because 'starvation mode'. That's not how the body works, you gain from excess calories(or water retention, or hormones, but those are shorter term). You can stop losing if you cut cals too severely for too…
  • You can also do exercises for your feet geared toward ballerinas, like 'writing the alphabet' with your foot in the air. I also like sketchers for my weak arches and bad ankles.
  • I'd get dry shampoo, or get a two in one shampoo conditioner. Depending on your hair there are styles you can do with it just towel dried. I'm going to be going to the gym in the morning here soon. Here's what I've come up with as a locker room routine, I'll tweak it as I get going. Stop in, put things in locker, separate…
  • Welcome, there are many here with at least one if not both of those conditions or other medical conditions. You'll find your sweet spot for carbs. For some it's 0, for other 100 and everywhere in between. Feel free to poke around the launchpad(highly recommended) and some people have open diaries.
  • You are so on top of life knit, really awesome that you're taking the initiative to do the hated worksheets of doom. I've known some of each kind of person, and the ones who didn't naturally have this massive amount of "willpower" were able to become more strong willed with practice and general self confidence. I'm…
  • 1500 seems quite reasonable. If you're just mildly hungry for the first couple weeks it could very well be your body adjusting. If you start getting weak, or full blown carb hungry, add electrolytes and fats, respectively.
  • I really want to look good in coveralls. :/ I wear them for work and they're not the most forgiving garment ever. I want to feel HOT damnit, not just pretty. I want to wear skinny jeans. I want to go on an all day hike without thinking about it. I want to fit in in a yoga class. I know this is vain, but I want to look like…
  • I like a bottle of talking rain once in awhile. It's flavored but not sweetened, and a drop of liquid sweetener makes the lemon lime taste like 7up if I want something sweeter.
  • A friend did a LRRH like that, it was pretty awesome, and she said it was warm with the fur, cool without. I think she had a backup for it being too hot.
  • Weight lost this week: .2 pounds, down to 137.7 from 137.9(starting weight for this mini-goal). Goal for Holloween: 130 pounds, 7.7 pounds to lose
  • I can squat sans weights with my feet almost flat, almost. When I had some physical therapy for my knee a few years ago she said it was down to female anatomy. A nice way of saying my big ol' behind was unbalancing me.
  • Ugh. I'd forgotten these. I never had them often, but they were a thanksgiving day treat
  • This seems to come in waves. Lots of people have had their goals reset lately.
  • If you live near a junior college or university/college you should just be able to go to their library and find articles like that without waiting for an ILL, they take forever. Public colleges don't care(and I doubt they could kick you off for expanding your knowledge) if you're there.
  • @chaoticdreams I use a chewable, gummy prenatal. It's from walmart, don't remember the brand right now. I think it has 4 carbs per serving(2 gummies) and has all the DHA and folic acid etcetera. I can't take the regular ones(upset my stomach), but it's really helped my nails and skin. Also a good just in case measure for a…
  • As a young woman who has always had weight issues the best thing my mom did was limit the junk food in the house. We're in the process of purging the house of all the carbage, she and dad are slowly eating some of it and other stuff get's tossed when it's found. Depending on their ages they may not really notice as foods…
  • 4 gallons of milk
  • I'll be starting in a few weeks. Still doing lots of reading and trying to figure things out so I don't look like a total fool in the weightroom. There will be lots of other students there, maybe one of them will help me.
  • Excuse the blurred pic, they never stand still for long. That black and white spotted one is named cow. Yes, I have a goat named cow. And all of these guys are mine. There are many more out of frame. Plus we have 2 dogs, 9 cats, fish, and cockatiels.
  • I think my goal is around 90 on here but I pay very little attention to it. I glance to make sure I've had at least 75-80 grams and don't worry about going over at all. I feel best when I consume somewhere between 75-120 grams of protein per day. I do use protein shakes as a part of my diet because they are portable and…
