In the app when you go to add a quantity of food you can choose between fractions and decimals when the number pad appears. For all I know, once you've made a choice, that remains the default until you change it. At least that has been my experience. FWIW I've never understood why you would use fractions when decimals…

Seems to me that there's a lesson in all this...

There's a website that says the ratio of cooked pasta by weight to dried pasta is apparently 2.1:1, so 210g of cooked pasta is the equivalent of 100g of dried pasta. I tried this with Barilla a couple of times and thats what I got as well when cooked for the specified time - cook the pasta longer and it will take up more…

I confess I'm breaking my long time lurker cover to say I'm glad Captain Fantastic has returned

From the website - select My Home - then on sub-menu that appears below it, choose Check-In

Lost weight and certain positions definitely became uncomfortable to sleep in. Once I started lifting heavy everything hurt all the time so now there is no such thing as a comfortable sleeping position.

First instinct would be to pick it up, that said, if its a date I'd be guided by my surroundings. Cloth napkin and white tablecloth, I'm going with the knife and fork

0.2 kg increase since last gym session on 21 December, no hangovers - at this time of year I'll take that as a moderate win.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest the fact that the OP describes this as an ethical issue may be symptomatic of the greater societal problem. Not picking on you OP, but the word you're looking for is manners - an apparently old fashioned collection of behavioural norms that parents are supposed to teach their…

I tried Strong and didn't much like it, I use Gymbook for the iPhone/Apple Watch integration. Might help if you let folks know what phone or other fitness tracker tech you are using.

I can't even begin to express how much I admire and respect you and all of your colleagues for undertaking this emotionally draining aspect of your already busy jobs.

Apple all the way. My household is now so invested in the Apple architecture that anything else doesn't make sense. So far I haven't seen a new feature that would make the pain of changing over worthwhile.

I always workout and especially lift alone. I've never been motivated by others yelling encouragement or pushing me to do that one extra rep. For me I work out for my own satisfaction and the notion of pleasing or impressing someone else doesn't even come into it. I'm also not especially motivated by the idea of competing…

Italian ricotta filled donuts. I had apple cider donuts in NY last January and they were pretty awesome but you don't see them where I'm from.

I use a dark roast blend in my espresso machine at home, always buying whole beans and grinding as needed. Buying coffee to go is an absolute crap shoot, even in Melbourne where I live which is renowned for its good coffee. All down to the roast and the skill of the barista.
