For me, it was signing up to do a half marathon. I will really struggle top run it if I don't drop 20 lbs and train consistently!

My body hates most dairy (gives me itchy tonsils, but yogurt is ok), fluffy store bread (I get bloated, whole grain stuff is fine though!), and eggs (I love eggs, but they destroy my stomach). I can usually get away with all of the above in limited quantities, but if I have them regularly then I end up with accumulative…

Awesome!! Way to go!!

Hanging out with friends that I hadn't seen in a while and realizing that I hadn't been happy in a long time. Started really working on myself, and although it's taken me two years, I've grown a lot as an individual. Along the way I ended up losing my bio family, but I'm happy to not be around highly reactive people…

Awesome thank you!

Garmin Vivofit, and a second hand treadmill that is 3-5 years old I think? (Horizon brand? You'd think I'd remember the name seeing as how I stared at it for an hour and a half today!)

Hahaha yes you're right!

Pick a goal, something you really, really want! For me, I want to run a half marathon, and I've signed up for one in October. I'm running it with a friend who is a fast runner. For me to not drag her down, I need to lose about 20 lbs. That's motivation enough for me to stick with eating at a deficit, and training to be…

Running a half marathon in October. It'll be a lot easier to run if I don't have to carry the equivalent of a tire with me!!

Way to go!!!

I use Vega Protein+Greens, vanilla flavor. It's not gritty, and I can drink it just mixed with water. Also it does not give me stomach upsetness, which pretty much every other kind does :)

I've been struggling with this all year. I'm finally on track again, but not by counting calories. What I've done instead is to pick something that I want to do that REALLY calls to me. Something that is really challenging that I know I can do, but only if I can manage to keep taking steps towards an active…

I prefer #1, but it really should come down to what YOU prefer. Either way, great job!!

How did you get tested for candida? I get these super itchy red bumps on my feet whenever I eat too much sugar, or if I have things like baked goods.

I'm 31, hour glass shape, 5'8". Started at 195#, currently 170#. I lose it from the top down, and notice it first on my arms, shoulders, and rib cage. Seems to take the longest amount of time to come off my hips, butt, and thighs, but that's not too surprising because that's where most of my fat is stored!

I found that my house stayed a lot cleaner after I purged it of items I didn't need. It's messy again because the kids got a lot of stuff from relatives for Christmas, but now we continuously purge and it helps the house to stay much, much cleaner!

My resolution for 2015 was to get into a healthy BMI. I didn't get there, but I have lost 21 lbs so far, so I'm happy about that. My resolution for 2016 is to lose another 14 lbs. Then, depending on how I feel, I may try to lose another 10 lbs in 2017. In 2015 I also became aware that I am an extrovert, and I need to get…

Wow, AMAZING!!!!

Coffee, 18% cream, plain yogurt, frozen berries, potatoes, wheat squares, tofu, vegetables (I switch these up for variety, but greens and broccoli are my favourite), and fruit (my favourites are apples, pears, grapes, and cherries)

@pandekrah did you get your appetite back? And if so, how? I am feeling the same way, and seem to be satisfied at about 750-1000 calories a day, but keeping the same activity levels. Well, except for the weekend when I partied at a wedding - drinking isn't an issue, just eating. I have a lot of changes in my life right…

^^ Yes, this! I am really aware now of how much my lose skin and fat 'spreads' when I am sitting or laying down. It never did that before (firm fat and all). Makes it especially hard to get in the mood without being self conscious :(

Ok. Mine are from backyard chickens, so they are all varying sizes with different shell weights. I'll stick with logging them raw then (which never occurred to me before today!)

For me, I have junk food substitutions. For example, Old Dutch bbq is my favourite chip of all time. However, if I have some, then I will usually find myself eating 2 or three bags of them over the next week. But if I have Miss Vickies or plain Pringles then I seem to do alright. We also make a point of buying one bag of…

I'm hourglass shaped, but because I've lost from the top mostly (so far), I now look like a pear. Can't wait for my lower body to catch up because I'm not used to this shape and keep miscalculating my distance from doorways and counters and such lol.

Just keep going, it will come off! It's been 6 months for me, and I'm finally just seeing it come off my hips and thighs now.

That I've reached a point where I'm happy with my body. Sure it has it's imperfections, and I'm no where near 'done', but I've never been this happy with, and accepting of, my body before. Randomly throughout the day I'll check myself out and smile. I feel amazing!

I'm 5'8", currently stuck between 168-170. I'd love to get to an athletic 155lbs.

That's what my stomach looks like. Putting castor oil on it at night seemed to help firm it up. (2-3x a week, and do not use if nursing or while menstruating)

I understand your pain. My husband can eat whatever he wants, and doesn't gain weight. We currently have 3 bags of chips in the house that I'm trying hard to avoid. On my good days it's easy, but on my bad days, not so much.

I measure out what I want, and weigh that. Sometimes I top it up to the portion size.
